"I add Chaos Summoning Beast to my hand."
Kira revealed the card he’d searched.
"Then, I Normal Summon ’Chaos Summoning Beast.’"
He slapped the monster onto the Duel Disk—a small, harmless-looking demon radiating an ominous vibe.
[Chaos Summoning Beast, ATK 0]
The bishop couldn’t help but glance at it twice.
"Chaos Summoning Beast?" he muttered. "That aura is..."
"Chaos Summoning Beast’s effect," Kira continued. "Tribute it to Special Summon—ignoring summoning conditions—one of the following monsters from my hand: ’Uria, Lord of Searing Flames,’ ’Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder,’ or ’Raviel, Lord of Phantasms!’"
As expected.
The bishop’s eyes narrowed at the mention of those names. The congregation below stirred in shock.
The Three Sacred Beasts!
Though not as legendary as the Egyptian Gods at the pinnacle of Dueling, the Three Sacred Beasts were still famous. Especially with those rumors they could plunge the world into chaos and darkness, which only added to their mystique.
Their designs bore striking resemblance to the Gods, with matching theme colors. Uria, in particular, looked so much like Slifer the Sky Dragon that some believed they were distant relatives.
Because of these similarities, the rarely-seen Sacred Beasts became even more renowned.
"I tribute Chaos Summoning Beast to Special Summon—ignoring conditions!—"
Kira raised the card.
"The phantom demon who commands the fires of hell, who burns all schemes to ashes with blazing flames—
—Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, descend!"
It was as if the gates of hell were thrown open. An indescribable force surged from the underworld. Flames, like a beast unleashed after ages of captivity, erupted toward the sky, staining the world an ominous crimson.
Infernal flames with the power to incinerate everything. The ruler of hell manifested within the fire—a colossal red dragon, its body sheathed in living flame, its eyes deep as burning universes.
Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, summoned!
[Uria, ATK 0]
The congregation was thrown into greater chaos.
A Sacred Beast!
The legendary monster said to bring chaos and ruin if unsealed had appeared—right here, on their altar!
What did it mean?
Were the Sacred Beasts and their Evil God about to battle for supremacy?
The bishop said gravely, "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. I never expected to see him in this era."
Uria let out a deep roar.
