Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, revived!
"Still clinging on like a ghost, are you? Sacred Beast," Eraser said. But his tone was openly contemptuous—clearly, as a lofty Wicked God, he didn’t think much of a Sacred Beast at this level.
Uria let out an indignant roar, but didn’t dare roar too loudly. It sounded... a little wronged.
"Uria’s effect," Kira said. "Scan and destroy all Trap Cards in my opponent’s backrow.
Trap Destruction!"
Once again Uria unleashed its power, transparent shockwaves bursting from its mouth. The two set cards responded—trembling faintly, both clearly Traps.
"As expected," Eraser snorted, then raised his hand.
"Then I chain to Uria’s effect—Trap Card Back to the Front! Special Summon a monster from my Graveyard in Defense Position!"
Kira: "Same old trick?"
"Tremble, mortal!" Eraser laughed wildly. "Once again, I summon myself from the Graveyard—
—The Wicked Eraser, descend!"
The ground began to shake. The sky dimmed. Thunder rolled down, as if that ultimate horror were awakening again.
Even if Kira didn’t have many cards on the field this time—meaning Eraser’s ATK wouldn’t be high—it still formed an overwhelming defensive wall. Because no matter how Eraser was defeated, the moment it fell, its effect would trigger and send all cards on the field to the Graveyard.
And even if no one did anything, at the End Phase the Special Summoned god would automatically be sent to the Graveyard—still triggering the "end of all things." That would force Kira to face the opponent’s next turn with an empty field again.
But this time, Kira had an answer.
"One of the cards I discarded with Graceful Charity was the monster Makyura the Destructor." Kira said. "In the turn this card is discarded, I can activate Trap Cards from my hand."
Kira played the Trap from his hand.
"Trap Card: Trap Stun!
Until the end of this turn, all Trap Cards on the field except this card are negated."
A trap-sealing domain erupted—an invisible binding force instantly suppressing the Trap power Eraser had activated. The thunderclouds overhead dimmed, and the dark vortex of Eraser’s revival began to dissipate.
"So you prepared an answer to my Eraser revival combo," Eraser chuckled. "But unfortunately, my tactics are still superior! I activate my second set card!
Trap Card Back to the Front!"
"Oh?" Kira said. "Two copies of the same Trap?"
"Exactly!"
Eraser roared with laughter.
"The second Back to the Front chains to your Trap Stun, so it resolves before Trap Stun takes effect.
From the Graveyard, I revive myself once again—
The Wicked Eraser, descend!"
Endless darkness—like the ultimate curse and hatred of the world—gathered and formed that supreme evil shape.
The Wicked Eraser—summoned again!
[The Wicked Eraser, DEF ?]
"So it still got summoned..." Kira murmured.
"Hahahaha! A mere Sacred Beast—how could it contend with an Wicked God?" Eraser sneered. "Well? Even now, will you still attack?"
