“In exchange, she promised to release me.“
In an instant, Luna’s face turned pale as a ghost.
She had been working so hard and finally, Aura was in prison.
But alas, once that Alice appeared, everything she did was in vain.
“I told you, you’re too stupid.“ Aura whistled, “You purposely erased all physical traces of Luna, you didn’t want to admit you’re Luna Gibson. If you don’t want to be Luna Gibson, tons of people are willing to take your place. Now, Alice Gibson has become Luna Gibson but you have no way of proving your identity. Say, how pitiful are you? You spent so much time and effort to get me in here, and for what? All she needs is a few whispers in his ears, and I’m out of here.“
With that, she yawned. “Say, when she gave him her suggestions, do you think they just slept together?“
Luna’s heart squeezed in her chest. It hurt.
But she still forced a calm smile onto her face. “What does it matter if they’re together? Do you think he hasn’t been with many women?“
Aura paused; she was just going to say Joshua had only had Luna Gibson alone…
Then she changed her mind. What should she tell her?
So she shrugged. “You’re right. I had him too. What a pity.“
Luna felt disgusted.
She changed her position, showing Aura nothing except a cold view of her back.
At that moment, the door was unlocked.
The female warden walked in frowning. “You can leave now.“
Aura was delighted. “I can go now, right?“
The warden glanced at Luna sitting in the distance. “ Both of you can go now.“
“It seems like the two little kids are quite smart after all.“
Changing out of their prisoner’s jumpsuit, Aura and Luna walked out of the changing room.
In the corridor, Aura said coldly, “Who would’ve thought you could walk out of here with me?“
As if on purpose, the moment she walked out of the door, Aura raced toward Joseph and Natasha.
“I missed the two of you so much! “
Natasha and Joseph hugged Aura tightly, one on each side. “Our darling daughter…“
The family of three hugged each other and started crying.
Luna looked on expressionlessly as they indulged in their familial love for each other.
Actually, she belonged to the Gibson family too.
But at that moment, she looked at the three of them standing in the distance and felt the memories of the time they spent as a family of four drifting further and further away.
Maybe she should have known a long time ago.
She should not have foolishly hoped for something like familial love.
When she was watching them in a daze, Aura turned and smiled eerily at her. “Ms. Luna, you and I have a long way more to go.” Natasha frowned, glanced at Luna in disgust, then turned and patted Aura’s back. “Why are you talking to someone like her who has no conscience?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
