Hearing the man’s voice, Luna, who was already prepared to be hit, paused slightly.
Joshua?
When she retracted her hands and looked in the direction of the voice…
Standing in front of her, the towering man was holding Ben’s wrist in his first.
The veins on Ben’s forehead protruded violently, it was obvious he was using all his strength, trying his best to plant his fist on Luna’s face.
But Joshua firmly controlled him with just a single hand. As if effortless.
Luna was stunned for a second.
“Luna! Come here! “ Gwen’s voice rang out behind her. She paused, and hurriedly stepped back to stand beside Gwen.
Gwen held her hand, massaging it, and said, confused, “When did Joshua arrive?“
“He has been following us since we left the hospital.“ Beside them, Luke still had his arms crossed over his chest as he leaned on the wall, his gaze flitting toward Luna. “He must’ve been worried something would happen to her.“
He stretched lazily. “If I didn’t know Joshua was married, I would think he’s pursuing her. Last night when we went in to save her, he didn’t even bother
negotiating with me, everything was acceptable as long as I saved her.“
As he spoke, the man chuckled, “And yet he’s a businessman. Doesn’t he know his enemy can easily catch hold of his Achilles heel when he does things without regard for anything else.“
Luke could almost confirm now that Joshua’s Achilles heel was…
He looked at Luna again. She was pretty, but not enough to move cities. Not to the extent where Joshua would be willing to disregard everything for her, was she?
Luna’s face paled at the man’s words.
“Mr. Lynch, this is between me, Luna and Gwen, it has nothing to do with you! “ In the distance, Ben could not overpower Joshua, so he shrugged his hand off harshly.
He glanced at Gwen coldly as he took the tissue Clover passed to him and wiped at the bloodstains on his face. “You shou1d’ve told me earlier if you
don’t want to get a divorce. This morning, you signed the papers so readily, I thought you were really a woman who knows her value. Who knew at night you would come here and stop me, and even ask your friend to punch me?“
Gwen’s frown deepened. “I didn’t know you would come here.“ With that, she sucked in a deep breath and shifted her gaze to Luna. “Can you hand me my suitcase?“
Luna nodded and dragged the suitcase over. Gwen laughed bitterly and unzipped the suitcase.
Besides the wedding album that Luna just saw, the inner pocket of the suitcase was filled with her and Ben’s wedding photos. With trembling hands, Gwen took out the photos one by one and threw them onto the ground.
“Today, I kept telling myself, you’re a traditional man. Your mindset tells you that you can’t accept such a wife. It doesn’t matter, even if we get divorced, I will still cherish the memories you gave me. But now…” The woman closed her eyes, tears falling from the corners of her eyes. “I was wrong. I ‘in the only one who has been treasuring these memories.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
