Stanley pursed his lips, "Sorry, let me have a look."

He squatted down and took her hand away.

Violet rubbed her hurt forehead, then lay down again, got under the bed, and took out what was rolling into it.

He looked at her messy hair and panting with exhaustion, then narrowed his eyes, "Did you go under the bed again?"

Violet nodded in embarrassment.
