One Weekend with the Billionaire novel Chapter 33

Making love to Julia on the airplane is indescribable. I take the lead because I can’t control myself. I want to possess her so badly. All day long, I’ve been thinking about when I will get the chance to touch her again. That isn’t to say I haven’t enjoyed my time at the falls, at lunch, or just being with her. I love every second I get to spend with this beautiful woman, but being with her is always in the back of my mind. When I hear her come, I can’t hold back, and I am moaning and panting along with her.

I know that the plane is about to land, so I won’t be able to hold her for long. She grabs her clothes and excuses herself to the restroom to clean up and get dressed. Already, without her body next to mine, I am cold and lonely. I want her here, in my arms, forever.

I pull myself out of the bed and get dressed, feeling the plane descend. Julia comes out of the restroom, her cheeks still rosy from our love making but looking as beautiful as ever. "We should go take our seats," I tell her, standing and wrapping my arms around her. "The plane will be landing soon."

"Okay," she says, her voice breathy. She looks into my eyes, and I feel like something is different, something has changed, in a good way, but I don’t know what it is. She lays the palm of her hand against my cheek, and I lean into it, feeling the warmth from her palm radiate through my skin straight to my heart. Once again, I am thinking about forever with her. What would it be like if we could take trips like this every weekend for the rest of our lives? It would be better than I could ever dream of.

I lean down and kiss her. If I have the opportunity to kiss her sweet lips a thousand times, the last kiss will not be any less sweet than the first. She makes a small sound of contentment in the back of her voice that makes me want to scoop her back into my arms and lay her back down on the bed, but I fight the urge and instead take her hand and lead her to the seats we occupied earlier. We sit down and buckle our seat belts, just before Priscilla comes out and says, "We’re getting ready to land, Mr. Merriweather."

"Thank you," I tell her. She has a little knowing look on her face that tells me she’s likely come out to check on us during the flight and found our seats empty. She says nothing, though, and I think Julia doesn’t notice.

Julia is so excited for the landing. Her eyes are focused out the window as the plane slowly lowers from the sky. I can tell she likes adventures and can imagine she’d be fun to take on a roller coaster. I hope I get a chance to take her on one someday. If it would make her stay with me, I would build her a roller coaster in my back yard.

The plane touches down, and Julia laughs, clapping her hands together. I love her merriment; it brings a smile to my face, too, even though I’ve flown far too many times to count. I don’t think I’ve had a reaction like that before, not even when I was a little kid.

She unbuckles her seatbelt, as do I, and we wait for the plane to finish taxiing and the crew to secure the flight. Then, the door opens for us, and we walk down the stairs and onto the asphalt. Above us, another plane is taking off. Julia’s eyes fixate on it as she gasps and smiles, watching the large vehicle fly right over our heads. "That is so cool!" she exclaims as the plane flies out of sight. "I love that!"

"Perhaps you should take flying lessons," I tell her, a fond smile on my face as I watch her.

"Me?" she says. "I don’t even know how to drive a car."
