Chapter 154
It looked like Cynthia’s jeans were soaked halfway up, likely from crossing through the wet paths, and she was probably here to change clothes…
As she passed the flag, she glanced at it but didn’t think much of when she saw Abby coming out from that side. Without a second thought, Cynthia headed straight toward the men’s tent
Abby took this opportunity, to call out loudly in Cynthia’s direction, “Cynthia, are you here to change, too?” Her voice was loud enough for Jonathan to hear from inside the tent.
She was still stinging from being scolded by Jonathan, and now that she’d seen how irritated he was, she couldn’t wait to see Cynthia face his wrath as well. Maybe Jonathan would even be angry enough to kick Cynthia off the show.
Meanwhile, the live room chat was blowing up with comments.
[Why didn’t Abby warn Cynthia she’s going into the wrong tent?!
It’s obvious that Abby left with a sour face, Mr. Bennett must have given her a hard time.]
I thought Abby was innocent, but now it’s clearly intentional]
[Even if it wasn’t on purpose, the fact that Abby didn’t warn Cynthia shows her true colors.]
[Abby knows Cynthia will probably get kicked out too. She got rained on, so now she wants others to suffer too.]
[Is Abby obligated to help? There’s no rule saying you have to give someone else an umbrella just because you got wet. Stop the moral policing, okay? Cynthia can’t find her way around–that’s not Abby’s fault.]
[Abby’s fans are out of control, who are these people supporting her? Are they idiot?]
[You’re an idiot! Bet your whole family is too!]
The live chat quickly turned into a heated argument.
Cynthia had already stepped into the tent when she realized Jonathan was in the middle of changing. He wore a black short- sleeve shirt, entirely unbuttoned, revealing his perfectly defined chest muscles..
With his strikingly handsome face and damp hair, he looked entirely different from the composed, restrained presence he usually projected in the live room. To the viewers, he had an untouchable, almost godlike aura–so refined that even seeing him bare seemed sacrilegious.
But right now, he was anything but restrained. He had a relaxed almost roguish air that reminded Cynthia of her first encounter with him at the Dark Horse Club. This side of Jonathan was all too familiar to her. For the past three years, she’d often seen him like this–captivating, unpredictable, and undeniably alluring.
Cynthia frowned and said. “Did you get the wrong place, or did
Jonathan raised a brow, his voice playful and teasing, a far cry from the c closer, and I’ll let you know.”

tone he usually maintained on camera. “Come
Cynthia hesitated, debating whether to leave immediately. But a sudden spark of curiosity held her back. Knowing Jonathan, he was definitely up to something, and she couldn’t help but wonder what.
Cynthia swept her hair back over her shoulder and approached him. “Alright, now that I’m here, care to explain why you’re
in this tent?”
Both tents were set up identically, with one side facing the ocean and the other three surrounded by jungle, making it hard

to distinguish one fromthe other.
Cynthia had marked the tents with a small flag she’d made herself, so she still assumed Jonathan was the one who’d wandered into the wrong tent–whether intentionally or not, she wasn’t sure.
As Cynthia approached, Jonathan extended his hand suddenly. Give me your hand.”
Not knowing what he was up to, Cynthia hesitated. But curiosity got the better of her, and she placed her hand in his Jonathan gripped her hand firmly and pulled her closer, pressing her palm to somewhere unexpected.
Cynthia was shocked, nearly losing her composure. Jonathan had pulled her hand onto his abs. His face bore a mischievous smile as if trying to charm her. “Eight–pack abs, feel nice?”
The solid, warm sensation under Cynthia’s hand sent a jolt through her, and she instinctively tried to pull her hand back But Jonathan held it firmly in place, his smile growing more teasing.
“Are you crazy, Jonathan?” Cynthia hissed, finally managing to yank her hand free. Her palm felt like on fire, and the heat spread up
her face, tinting her cheeks. She insisted it was anger. “You’re absolutely nuts.”
Cynthia knew she shouldn’t have let her curiosity get the better of her. She should have known better–nothing good ever came from playing along with Jonathan. Even when she thought she was ready for whatever he threw at her, he still managed to catch her off guard.
Jonathan noticed the blush on Cynthia’s cheeks, the brief flicker of panic in her eyes, and now her embarrassed irritation. His mood lifted. Slowly, he began buttoning his shirt. “You got a free feel–no charge–and you’re still complainingTMTM
