Cynthia hurried into the elevator. Soon, she was outside the CFO’s office 

The secretarial department was outside Jonathan’s office. It was oisy that day, Cynthia seemed to hear Shirley’s voice. Cynthia paused for a few seconds and went to Jonathan’s office. 

Jonathan was staring at the laptop with a serious expression. His eyes lit up when he saw Cynthia. He got up, walked to Cynthia’s side, put his hands on her waist, and lowered his head to kiss her. 

He sounded happy and surprised. “Why are you here?” 

Cynthia smiled and said, “I’m here for a free meal.” 

Jonathan was dissatisfied. “Couldn’t you say you miss me?” 

Cynthia replied, “Okay. I miss you.” 

Jonathan said, “Hmph! You’re just being perfunctory.”

The lunch that Jonathan ate every day was prepared just for him by BJ Cafeteria. The executives would bring the lunch box. there every day. 

Cynthia had eaten it several times, and the taste was very good–no worse than a three–star Michelin restaurant. 

Jonathan looked at Cynthia and cocked an eyebrow. “Okay. If we go out, there will be no time for a nap.

Cynthia said. “Filip and I have broken up, but Henry, Pamela, and Matthew treat me as their own. They want to thank you for giving the Yates family’s Paradise Resort this opportunity, and of course, they also want to meet you.” 

Jonathan nodded seriously. “I have to prepare for the meeting with elders.
