Naomi dragged Cynthia into the courtyard. Fireworks burst in the sky, beautiful as rosy clouds. Everyone in the courtyard paused and looked up, praising the fireworks. 

Cynthia looked up at the fireworks, reminiscing about her birthday when the sky was filled with Burning Rose fireworks. Her fluttering heart shattered like a bubble bursting. 

The fireworks continued for about ten minutes, then gradually became quiet again. However, the courtyard became especially lively. Everyone surrounded the begonia tree, with gifs of all sizes piled up under it. 

Cynthia finally met the main character of the day, Nina, who looked young. Although Nina was only three years younger than Cynthia, the innocence on Nina’s face was like a high school student. 

Nina had long, straight hair with bangs, and her delicate features were complemented by light makeup. A pink dress accentuated her curvy figure, and her eyes appeared innocent and sweet when she smiled. 

Cynthia first thought of Nina as beautiful and young, like a delicate Barbie doll on display. It seemed she was born to be loved and pampered by others. A large group of girls now surrounded Nina. 

Cynthia and Naomi were separated from the group by an artificial lake only a few feet away, Cynthia could hear the girls chattering. 

Someone asked, “Nina, why isn’t Mr. Bennett here yet?” 

Kina. I heard Mr. Bennett has arranged a special variety show for you, yes? Please don’t forget about us,” another person said. 

“Nina, we’re envious of you! You’re only a sophomore, yet you’ve already been in several major productions. When the TV series you appeared in airs, you might become an A–lister, one person commented in amazement.

Nina continued to smile until she heard the last sentence. She blushed and said with some embarrassment, “Stop talking like that. My relationship with Mr. Bennett isn’t what you think it is. 

“Why do you still call him Mr. Bennett? Even Celine, a generation younger than him, calls him Jonathan. You can’t be inferior to her, someone stated. 

Nina said earnestly, “He’s Mr. Bennett. Don’t talk nonsense. He’ll be upset when he gets here.” 

There was a commotion not far away. Someone exclaimed, “Nina, Mr. Bennett is here!” 

The crowd subconsciously stepped to the side. A tall figure walked straight toward Nina. 

Cynthia felt her heart skip a beat at the sight of the figure. Naomi kindly reminded her, “Look, he’s Jonathan of the Bennett family.” 

Of course, Cynthia recognized Jonathan. The custom–made suit looked especially good on him. He was so handsome that people could forget his prestigious identity and immerse themselves in his good looks. 

Every step he took seemed to be on the tip of people’s hearts. If it weren’t for the cold and oppressive feeling coming from him, someone might have screamed in excitement. After all, no one in the entertainment industry was as handsome as him.

Jonathan approached Nina- People began to greet him. He nodded casually, and finally, his gaze fell on Nina. “Happy birthday, Nina.” he said. 

Nina was obviously overjoyed. She looked up at Jonathan as if she were sparkling with starlight. 

“I brought you a birthday present. Let’s see if you like it,” Jonathan said, raising his hand slightly. 

Claude, who had been following behind, stepped forward. He presented a square black velvet gift box with both hands before opening it carefully. 

A dazzling light flashed, Everyone around gasped with envy. Inside the box was a pink diamond necklace. A large pink diamond was carved into the shape of a heart and surrounded by countless fine diamonds, shining with an extremely dazzling light.

Jonathan took the Heart of Cherry Blossom necklace out of the box. Then he gently lifted Nina’s hair and put it around her neck. 

Nina immediately radiated beauty, her neck glowing with charm, making it impossible for people to look away, 

Jonathan, who was helping Nina put on the necklace, even thoughtfully fixed her hair. Nina looked very happy, and people, around them began to compliment her. 

Cynthia watched it all unfold and couldn’t help but smirk, realizing inwardly, ‘Huh! I’m the one who designed ‘Heart of Cherry Blossom. It seems that when Jonathan went to Japrium, he didn’t just buy the Turn Darkness Into Light necklace he gave me. Even Hector encouraged me to open up to Jonathan, and I was starting to waver. Fortunately, I haven’t had the chance to tell him that I love him yet. 

After Jonathan gave the gift, he received a phone call. He stepped away from the crowd and answered the call behind the rockery.
