Chapter 121 

Athena’s POV 

After spending the day with Gwen, Alarick and our children it was now beginning to become late causing me to sigh. For tonight my children would be staying with both Alarick and Gwen because the twins were going to be busy all day tomorrow and I was going to the Capital with Elise and Cara for a girls day. 

‘Don’t worry… We’ll see our babies again soon‘ replies Artemis, as if having sensed my discomfort of having to leave them behind but 

knew that we had to. 

‘I know Artemis, doesn’t mean I have to be okay with it though‘ I reply back, moving to kiss each of their heads goodnight before moving to tuck them in for the night. 

“Mommy?” calls Adrian from his spot on the bed. 

“Yes sweetheart?” I reply back to him, my eyes now watching him as he speaks.. 

“When can we come home?” asks Adrian, a pull on my heart strings rising. 

“Tomorrow sweetheart. Once I’m back from the Capital. And if you’re good for mommy then I’ll bring you home a surprise I move to tell him, his eyes sparkling at the thought of his first gift. 

“Okay mommy” 

Smiling softly, I move to kiss him on the forehead. “Good boy. Mommy promises to come back for you all soon” was all I said before moving to tuck him for the night before moving to leave the room. My mates downstairs as they wait patiently for me to return before 

each of us head for home. 

-Next Day- 

By the next morning, do I slowly move to stir, the dawn’s light slowly rising to greet me as I move to slowly wake up. My mates currently out on patrol like usual but with promise to see me off before leaving with Cara and Elise. 

Glancing at a clock within the room, I can’t help but notice that it reads 7:30 am which means I had about an hour to get ready before 

their arrival. 

Better hurry, I muse, moving to roll out of bed as I did. 

Once out of bed do I move to head for our master bathroom. Always blown away by how huge it was. ‘I don’t think I’ll ever stop being 

amazed by this room ever‘ I move to say to Artemis. 

With a chuckle rising from her lips does Artemis move to reply back carefully, ‘No doubt you won’t. This room is even bigger than that of 

our last one in our old room.‘ 

At the mention of that, I suddenly feel myself shiver. ‘Don’t remind me I whisper back, still not over the way that my family had treated 

me all those years ago. 

‘Sorry, I didn’t mean to bring up unwanted memories‘ answers Artemis truthfully, quickly realizing her mistake as she did. 

It’s okay, you didn’t know‘ 

Then, with that said, do I move to approach the shower. Setting the water to my liking before shedding off all my clothes before moving to step inside. The water feeling amazing against my skin as I just stand there enjoying it.

Chapter 121 

Mmm… amazing, I purr to myself, loving every bit of my peaceful shower as I could. 

One Hour Later 

After finally finishing up with my shower, I can’t help but look over at my clock on the nightstand only to pale at the time that was now displayed before my eyes. Crap! Was it already 8:30 am? Shit. 

Frantically running over towards my shared closet with my mates, I move to grab some clothes. Elise and Cara both scheduled to arrive any moment now to collect me and I was nowhere near being ready for them. 

Shit! How could I have gotten so behind? I panic, my mind now racing while I move to throw on a black lace bra and matching panty. Dark blue skinny jeans soon follow along with an emerald 4‘ length sleeve silk blouse along with black riding boots. 

Once quickly dressed so I move to quickly pull my hair into a half up, half down look before quickly doing my makeup. I need to hurry, I think as I still rush about the room, trying to finish before they arrive. 

Cara and Elise both promising to keep everything casual as we spent the entire day together. Just then, as if on cue do I suddenly hear a knock at the door, causing me to pause as it did. Having just finished with makeup when it happened again. 

Huh? I wonder, deciding to head downstairs to see who it was. 

Upon reaching the door do I instantly smile. Elise and Cara both now standing directly in front of me as I move to hug each of them. My eyes scanned to see who they had brought along with them only to see Iris, Elise’s Delta and Addison, Cara’s female mate and lover, Brayden nowhere in sight which made me look at her in question. 

“No Brayden?” 

“Heavens no. Brayden offered to watch over the pack this time around while we have our girls day in the Capital. Besides it’ll be fun to just have that time to ourselves and gossip about our mates” giggles Cara, Addison shaking her head in amusement. 

“Careful snowflake, don’t get carried away” chuckles Addison, snowflake being her pet name for Cara as her wolf was white with tiny hints of black to it and because of the fact that they lived in a pack that was always surrounded by snow. Hence the name Snow Moon. 

“Snowflake?” I ask, my eyes arching over in Cara’s direction, Cara now blushing. 

“Ya…. Addison’s apparent nickname for me” murmurs Cara. 

“What about Brayden? Does he have a nickname for you as well?” I question, now curious. 

“He–He does… he calls me snow” 

Smiling at Cara, I can’t help but feel happy for her. “That’s adorable Cara. And the fact they’re both snow themed makes it even cuter since you’re the leading Alpha of Snow Moon.” 

“Definitely” chimes Elise with a smile. 

“Thanks… What about you Elise?” asks Cara her eyes now on her.
