Our Luna, Our Mate

Chapter 125

Rosalyn’s POV

The moment the ExBeta, Brian had spoken those words to me, I instantly knew I was in big trouble. For I was supposed to have been helping Lily that night, but on that night instead I had been forced into helping the Beta female, Diana. As Diana had come looking to me for an enchantment spell, one of many that I was deemed worthy of giving to those who asked

An enchantment that would make a male fall desperately in love with her and forget the one they were destined to love. An enchantment that I thought was harmless only to now know it was meant to break a sacred mate bond

For a mate bond that was given by the Goddess herself only made me feel terrible deep within me. Knowing that I had been the cause of it only to be snapped out of my head by Lily. Her voice boardline angry, Shit

Why you little homewrecker. I knew you were up to something that night I came to you. I knew you weren’t totally innocentreplies Lily, her tone telling me she wanted more information

Unsure of what to tell her, I move to tell her the first thing that pops to mind. Lily you know how much I cherish a mate bond. You know all the Witches do, including those of Dragons, Vampires and Fae. Wolves including. It’s why we have them and those who don’t follow the laws of the mate bond lose their chances at having another.”

At the mention of a mates bond, I instantly see Lily’s expression change. A look of pure rage now rising as she moves to approach me, claws out which makes fear rise deep within me

Did you.. Did you just talk back to me?”

her

NNo”

Biting my lip I knew I totally did. Denying my involvement in the enchantment to mentioning the mate bond, that I knew almost

instantly that I was talking back. And it obviously didn’t go unnoticed by Lily either

Because in the next second before I could even react, I instantly felt sharp pain across my face. Lily’s claws. For she had dug them right across my face as the warm sensation of blood now oozed along my face. Tears threaten to fall from my amethyst eyes as her claws now catch me across the chest, ripping my irt until I feel her hands around my neck

My eyes closing as

sit before her, her claws leaving long and angry red marks all along my once flawless skin

She’s going to kill me. Her claws are going to rip out my heart before crushing it within her bare hands, preventing me from ever finding my mate, I think, attempting to fight back waves of fear only to hear the ExBeta speak up

Enough Lily. I think she’s learned her place now, don’t you?”

Sensing her hand hover about my chest, but more importantly my heart, do I hear her growl in response to the Beta. Her eyes now on me as she spoke again

Out of my site. NOW!”

Not one to stick around, I’m quick to disappear, teleporting away from her in fear of her changing her mind. The need to put distance between us rising as I find myself teleporting to where Kade, the Rogue currently was when I left him

Kade?I whimper, my body now collapsing in pain, fear and blood, darkness now moving to claim me, the last thing I see before my amethyst eyes close are his panicked ones

ROSALYN!”

Chapter 125

Kade

It’s late into the night and I’m still here waiting just outside the pack border of the Mystic Shadow Pack. As I hadn’t left the area since Rosalyn and I had been first sent here to watch over it, Rosalyn having currently been called away by the bitch, Lily

A frown now maring my face at the thought of the Witch. Knowing she wasn’t my mate and me being a Rogue, I knew I shouldn’t really care about her, but for some unknown reason I did. I found myself worrying about her, just like I found myself worrying about the girl from my old pack the Whiteclaw Pack, when we both went our separate ways after escaping from the Hunters

You know you care about hercomes Bishops voice, my Wolf rarely speaking to me unless he needed to

I do not. She’s just a Witch and clearly not OUR mateI snap, emphizing the word ours in hope he caught the hint

Why lie? Sure she’s a Witch but she’s a cute Witch. Besidesd like you told her before we have no living family leftadmits Bishop, knowing he was right

Cute or not, Witches are dangerous and like stated before not ours to worry aboutI reply back

*But she’s not and you know it. She hasn’t harmed us yetwhispers Bishop just for her too suddenly appear before us. Her body covered in blood as she now stands before us. Her body going into shock as she begins to fall unconcious. Her voice calling out to me as she did

Kade?”

With eyes wide, I slowly watch as she collapses. My body now in a panic as I move towards her fallen body. The need to check on her rising as I try access the situation that laid before me

Rosalyn?I call to her, only to see her unresponsive as I did. SHIT!”

Scanning the area around us I try to find something that I could use to help stop the bleeding only to growl when I had nothing to use

Her shirt. Rip some fabric from it and use thatgrowls Bishop, obviously mad at seeing her like this before us. The need to find the one responsible for her over powering everything else at the moment as I move to rip tiny pieces of fabric from her already, torn shirt, hoping to stop the bleeding

Once I have the bleeding under control do I move to access the damage that was done to her otherwise flawless body. Long angry claw marks now maring her skin, scent of Lily clearly all over her now forcing me to growl low

That bitch is going to die! Sh

another as it did

had no reason to harm herI growl to Bishop. His rage as well as my own now mingling between one

She will. But for now Rosalyn needs help. She’s not a Wolf. She won’t heal without proper carereplies Bishop, pointing out the obvious that she was a Witch and Witches didn’t have Wolves unless you were a hýbred or mix breed

Growling again, I move to carefully pick her up. Knowing that the only pack around was the Mystic Shadow Pack. The very same one we had been watching over the past couple of days because of Lily. My hope being that someone from that pack would be willing to help us considering I was a lone Rogue without a pack and she was a Witch. Neither making a good first impression for a pack that barely knew you, but knowing that she needed help I decided to take the risk

Hang on Rosalyn, We’ll get you help if its the last thing I do, I murmur to her, hoping she would hear me, not caring what happened to me so long as they were willing to help her

When approaching the packs border, I can’t help but feel nervous. Afraid of what would happen if they refused us. Refused to help her. STOP! You can’t start thinking like thatgrowls Bishop, knowing I was going down a rabbit hole of what ifs
