Chapter 64 

Athena’s POV 

Did… Did I just hear him right? Did he just say I’ma Lycan Princess? No that’s not possible, right? But… But as I sit here and listen to him speak about my childhood and about my family it makes it harder and harder for me not to believe in what he was saying. A distant memory suddenly surfaced when he mentioned 5yr old me as a child. 

-Flashback, 5yr old Athena- 

“Daddy, Daddy” giggles a little girl as she runs over to a man. A man with Dark brown hair and deep blue eyes. Standing about 6 ‘0 in height, broad shoulders and extremely fit, moves to pick up the tiny little girl with ease, her long brown hair and blue eyes shining as he did. 

“Yes my sweet Princess?” chuckles the man to his daughter. 

“Where’s Uncle Alex? Uncle Rick? There late” pouts the child, clearly not happy with her uncles in 

the least. 

“I’m sorry sweetheart… I’m sure they’re both on their way here soon, come let us find your mother” smiles the man as he moves to find his mate. Upon finding his mate, he can’t help but smile. The woman standing in front of him stood to be about 5 ‘8 with beautiful blue eyes, long brown hair just like their daughter and a slim athletic body to boot. Her beauty compared to others out shined them as she always blew him out of the water whenever he saw her. Her features mirror over to their daughter, their daughter growing up to be exactly like her mother. 

“Selene, my beautiful and charming wife, have my brothers arrived yet? Our Princess is looking for them if they have” remarks the man. 

Giggling, she moves to speak up. “No not yet my love, I’m sure they’ll be here soon” replies Selene as she looks to her daughter who was being held by her mate, the Alpha and ruler of their pack. 

Ryder. 

“Did I hear that the Princess was looking for me?” replies a voice, catching the attention of those within the room. Turning to greet the voice, Ryder moves to see who had joined them only to smile at who it was. For there, standing not even 5 feet away was none other than a man who also stood 60, short light brown hair and blue eyes shining, his tall athletic frame hiding behind royal clothing. 

“Uncle Alex” squeals the little girl as she tries to get down from her father’s embrace. 

“Hold on for a second Athena, you’ll hurt yourself if you don’t hold still” laughs Ryder as he

moves to set her down on the ground, Athena immediately running for her uncle who had just arrived. 

“Whoa! Hello there Princess” smiles Alex as he moves to lift her up into his arms. 

“Hi Uncle Alex” smiles tiny Athena with a smile. “How’s the birthday girl?” asks Alex as today was Athena’s 5th Birthday and today she and her family were celebrating it along with close friends and other family members. 

“I’m good now that you’re finally here, Where’s Uncle Rick?” asks Athena with happiness, her uncles the most cherished people in her life besides her parents and their Beta, Gamma and Delta. 

“Right here my little munchkin” replies another man as he moves to approach them. Standing yet again at 6’0 his medium brown hair and blue eyes now danced with myrrh as his tall thin frame 

stood before his brothers and niece. 

“UNCLE RICK! YOU CAME!” squeals Athena happily. Her love for her family is unconditional as they all move to gather within the room. Athena’s memories of that day eventually fade from her løst archives within her mind. 

-End of Flashback- 

I–I remember. My uncles had both come to visit me on my 5th Birthday. That day, me, my parents along with Uncle Rick and Uncle Alex all sat and talked about totally random things all while waiting for guests and other people to arrive while I sat there on Uncle Alex’s lap. 

He along with my father and Uncle Rick, each had been discussing pack related things while I was too busy minding my own business as they discussed pack treaties among the other 9 packs as well as handing over their packs to me when I became of age. 

Of course, at that time I was too little to fully understand the importance behind those negotiations but now that I’m older, I can finally see what they were discussing all so long ago. The goal was to hand over each pack to me once I ascended into my role as Alpha of my pack giving my uncles the freedom that they needed to be able to go off and find their fated mates without the worry of duty cutting into their need to find them. 

Unable to find it within my heart to deny them, I silently move to make up my mind. My uncles are the last two very important people in my life.. It was time I did something nice for them in return, I think to myself, knowing exactly what I was going to do. 

As being the heir to 3 kingdoms came with a hefty price tag. My only fear was if I’d be able to fill that price tag and do what was required of me to run not only the Mystic Shadow Pack with my mates, but also run that of the Silver Moon Pack and the Blood Rose pack too.

Chapter 64 

‘Relax… Our mates are with us. There’s no way we can fail at this, so long as we believe in 

ourselves and our mates we’ll overcome anything thrown at us‘ replies Artemis who could sense 

my fears and worries as they steadily grew. 

‘I know Artemis… I just want things to go smoothly as we’re also 

remind her, knowing I said pregnancy. 

Aug / stil bed to tell my mates and now unclest with 

3 little pups too‘ I 

‘And it will, trust me‘ was all I heard as she moved to leave my mind,her presence sparse at the moment as if she had her own objectives to handle besides what was going on in the here and 

now. 

“Well now, if you’re here with us, where’s Rick?” asks Alarick who was now curious as to where his other friend could be which draws my attention back to those within the room. 

“Still at Silver Moon. He’s handling all his last minute things before coming to join us. He’ll be here by the end of day” admits Alex as if it suddenly dawned on him.
