Cindy pressed her face against the window.
The neon lights at night and the stars lit up, which were dragged into a long tail behind the car. They were very beautiful in the changing atmosphere.
"Ethan, I want to get off the car."
Her voice was low. After saying that, she moved to the other side.
Anger instantly engulfed Ethan.
So obvious disgust.
This woman hated him so much.
She had left him like that five years ago. She was so determined. Now she was even tired of being with him.
He kept silent.
"Thank you for what you just did, Ethan. I have something else to deal with. When I came out of the hospital today, I didn't know if Head Nurse had arranged for Lena's patients. I was so anxious that I forgot to take my phone with me. Lena and I have changed shift today. If something goes wrong, Lena and I will lose our bonus this month. "
She chattered a lot.
This woman was not only annoying, but also so long winded.
Ethan frowned.
He glanced at her coldly.
Cindy's body trembled slightly when she met this pair of eyes. She immediately looked away and stared out of the window.
"Ethan, you are a rich man. So you don't know that a month's bonus is enough for my family's living expenses for a week?" Cindy's eyes were soon covered with a layer of mist, and her voice sounded a little choked.
Ethan's heart seemed to be stung by deeply.
The knuckles of Ethan's fingers tightened in an instant.
His face darkened, but he reached out his hand. Ethan wanted to comfort Cindy.
However, as soon as her fingers touched the clothes, Cindy suddenly shrank aside. There was no vacant space at the door. Cindy had to lean against the door to keep a distance from Ethan.
His hand froze and Ethan frowned.
It was quiet in the car.
Leon peeked at the two people sitting in the back row from the rearview mirror. "Mr. Ethan, where are we going?"
"The Huo's Mansion."
"Hospital, Ethan, I want to go back to the hospital." Cindy looked at Ethan sadly. When she looked sideways, she found that Ethan's face was as cold as ice.
The Bentley turned a corner and drove towards the Huo's Mansion.
Looking out of the window at the fast passing street view, Cindy didn't know where to go, but she could see clearly that it was not the way to the hospital at all.
"Ethan, can you show me some respect? I've told you that I'm going to the hospital."
Respect?
The two words made Ethan's face darken. She had never respected him. The seat in the car was so small that she had to deliberately avoid it.
"Ethan, how can you do this? Is it great to have money?. Stop the car. Stop the car."
Tears welled up in her eyes and anger erupted in an instant.
Cindy shouted, trying to jump out of the car.
The door was locked.
After several times, Leon had learned how stubborn Cindy was. Just now when he saw Ethan come out with Cindy in his arms, he knew that there would be another fierce battle.
"Ah!"
Cindy shouted hysterically and shook the door with her hands.
Leon stole a glance at the rearview mirror and happened to meet Ethan's cold eyes.
An icy cold voice was heard.
"Focus on driving."
The car sped forward, raising dust.
Cindy's protest didn't work. At last, she had to compromise and give up.
Five years had passed, but Ethan seemed to have changed.
Cold-blooded, domineering, allowing no one to obey him.
Leaning against the car window, Cindy's eyes swelled up because of the dazzling light. She closed her eyes and felt tired.
"Creak!"
