Chapter 366 Happy ending
While Blanca stared at Rosanne’s dark eyes, her eyes warmed, but she was still hesitating. “But...” she said.
“Don't worry, Blanca! What if we took a paternity test?” Rosanne said, choosing her words carefully.
Blanca was silent. There was just a lot going on in her heart right now. After all, she had been looking forward to this day for a long time, but at the same time, she was afraid. Sometimes it turned out to be disappointed, so she couldn't afford to build her hopes up.
At this time, Blanca felt a hand on her shoulder. “Go, honey,” Matthew said. He was conscious of her uneasiness. For as long as he had known Blanca, all she talked about was how to find her parents. She had waited too long for this moment.
Blanca looked at Rosanne, and then she looked at Matthew. Then she nodded her head and said, “OK.”
Rosanne smiled when she heard that. She held Blanca’s hands so tightly. Tears began to come to her eyes. “That's great. It’s great! After we get the
test results, we go to see your grandpa, OK?” Rosanne could not wait to let her father know the good news.
But her proposal made Blanca feel uneasy. In her head, Mr. Butler didn’t like her because of some misunderstandings. “Grandpa will accept all this gladly?” Blanca ask diffidently.
“Of course! He has already told me that you are super nice. Relax, Blanca. He likes you very much,” said Rosanne, laughing.
Looking at Rosanne’s genuine smile, Blanca was moved to tears. She looked up gratefully into Matthew’s face. He had done so much for her. Matthew looked back at her without a word, but as soon as Rosanne went to the washroom, he pulled Blanca close and hugged her. “Don't cry,” he assured her.
“| didn't cry,” Blanca retorted.
Matthew laughed softly in her ear, wiping away her tears. “You finally found your parents. Are you happy?”
“Yes. I'm very happy, very excited. Thank you, Matthew!” Blanca said, gazing affectionately at him.
After countless disappointments, how lucky she was to find her parents!
“You want to thank me? How?” Matthew winked with a smile and strained her closer. Blanca burst into laughter. Then she gently tried to push Matthew aside. “Mom will be here in a minute.”
Matthew smiled. He put his hand under her chin and looked for a moment into her eyes. “I will turn you loose, but you get to promise me something,” he said.
“What?” asked Blanca, keeping her watery eyes on Matthew with curiosity.
She was so lovable that Matthew flipped. His voice became hoarse and indistinct. “I want to have sex with you.”
Upon hearing this, Blanca blushed as red as a rose. “We already did it,” Blanca said shyly. She put her small tight hand on
Matthew’s chest, running her fingers up and down. Matthew felt his heart begin to pound faster. He seized her hand. Then he bent down and kissed her gently. When they kissed, it was like time stood still. For a moment, Matthew released Blanca and said, “For me and the Grant family, you’re still my wife, Mrs. Grant. Remember that, OK?”
“OK.” Blanca nodded.
Matthew looked happy. He rubbed her hair gently.
Not long afterwards, Rosanne got the results of their paternity test. As expected, Blanca was her daughter. At that moment,
Rosanne and Blanca fell into each other’s arms, sobbing on each other’s shoulders.
The next day, Rosanne took Blanca back to the Country Garden. She explained it all to Ernest. The truth made him cry with joy too.
The whole Butler family were glad for Blanca’s return, except Malinda. She even caused a scene at the Country Garden, but it was no use. She locked herself in her room after York sharply criticized her.
In her room, Malinda tried to calm herself down. Rosanne and Blanca had found each other and in any case, she couldn’t change that fact, but fortunately, she got along well with Rosanne over the years. Malinda knew Rosanne still had great affection for her. As long as she was not way out of line, she could continue to stay in this affluent family. At this thought, Malinda decided to go easy on Blanca and perform better.
So, the whole Butler family lived together in harmony, but Blanca did not live here, for she was Mrs. Grant now. What’s more, she was pregnant, and Matthew had been taking such good care of her.
As the due date got closer, Blanca seemed a bit agitated. She hugged Matthew and said anxiously, “I'm a little afraid, Matthew.”
Matthew ran a hand through Blanca’s hair and said, “Don’t worry. I'll be with you all the time. You and our baby are all going to be fine. I know it.”
Blanca nodded. In the night, their bodies pressed close together.
Three days later, Blanca gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. Both the Grant family and the Butler family were immersed in great joy, of course, except Malinda and Louise, but rest assured, Matthew would never allow them to hurt Blanca.
A few months later, Matthew bought a new house and the family of four lived there happily. It was dark.
When the babies finally fell asleep, Blanca went back to her room. When she pushed open the door, Matthew was reading a book. She felt her life was so perfect.
“Matthew,” Blanca said softly.
Matthew looked up from his book. “come here.”
Blanca went toward her husband and snuggled up to him. His heart beating make her feel warm and safe.
“I am beyond blessed, Matthew. It is just like a dream. I’m afraid that this is all just a dream.” Blanca had never thought she would have such a happy life. Two cute kids, a considerate husband, she couldn’t afford to lose them.
“This isn’t a dream. Take a listen to my heart.” Matthew said and put her hand on his chest. Blanca could hear his heartbeat.
She smiled, holding Matthew harder. “I’m very lucky to marry you.” This man had helped her find her parents and given her a lot of happiness.
“Me too, Blanca.” Matthew said and kissed his wife’s lips softly. The moonlight shone into their bedroom. Everything was perfect.
