Nadine was still young. Did she really plan on spending the rest of her life alone? If that were the case, Adam would never be able to rest in peace.
Travis understood Adam's intentions. Without saying another word, he let out a sigh and carried out the latter's request.
…
Compared to the damp, bone-chilling cold of Janctera City, the cold in Chillnada was dry. It didn't cut as deep, but it was still cold enough to keep people from venturing outdoors.
The locals liked to say, "Never pee in the snow, unless you want the stream to turn into an icicle where you stood." It seemed they weren't exaggerating.
After arriving at Chillnada, Nadine and Sean spent their days touring all the famous landmarks and feasting on the local cuisine. Both of them were acting like rabbits let out of a cage, frolicking on the vast expanse of snow.
The bodyguard who came with them was in charge of taking pictures and documenting the fun moments throughout the trip. Nadine and Sean even snapped some shots while they were at the supermarket.
Nadine, who was in her late 20s, sat in a shopping cart, while her six-year-old son pushed her around. He was entertaining her to no end. As she sat huddled, Nadine held a giant teddy bear that was nearly her size and filled the cart to the brim.
The bodyguard found the scene amusing and took a photo, which he then sent to Adam, who laughed heartily when he saw it.
Truth was, Brad was also at Chillnada. But he had a nasty cold and a high fever, so he hadn't appeared in front of Nadine and Sean yet.
