This evening, Antonio didn't get the information he wanted from Olivia, but he felt that he had gained a lot.
Although he didn't get any clue from Olivia, he found that Olivia was in fact a rare talent.
The so-called talents were not only someone with extraordinary professional ability or high academic qualifications. For a top elite like Antonio, perhaps a loyal subordinate was the best talent.
And he found some excellent qualities in Olivia today. At least those were excellent qualities for him.
When he chatted with Olivia, Antonio really somewhat wanted to employ him. He felt that he didn't mind not knowing the truth of the skin care product incident if he could recruit Olivia. Moreover, he could not only get clues from Olivia, but also could get information from other women who came to the Baron Group to make trouble.
Although he failed to get the information he wanted last time he met with them, Antonio didn't care. As long as he gave more money, those women would finally give him clues.
Moreover, if he could really employ Olivia, presumably, Olivia would tell Antonio everything he knew unreservedly.
Antonio even had dinner at Olivia's home. This surprised Olivia a lot. After all, he didn't treat Antonio kindly when they were outside his home.
Besides, how could rich people like Antonio be used to their food?
Antonio looked at Olivia meaningfully before leaving.
In the next few days, Antonio didn't have much work to do every day, which made him feel bored. He even had the idea of going to find Olivia again.
However, he also knew that haste makes waste. It took power and opportunity to recruit people like Olivia.
This morning, Antonio was sitting in his office reading today's newspaper when Oscar suddenly came in from outside.
"Mr. Antonio, I've sent a lot of people to investigate Kian these days according to your instruction. He has done a lot of illegal things, the most serious one of which happened in last year when he robbed a girl and was arrested by the police."
Oscar paused and then continued to say, "However, on the day when the judge pronounced sentence, that girl suddenly retracted her testimony and said that Kian didn't robbed her. She claimed that they were just having fun at that time."
Antonio crossed his hands and put them under his chin, "Did he escape punishment by it?"
Oscar nodded, "The police didn't have sufficient evidence because that girl suddenly retracted her testimony. No matter why that girl retracted her testimony and however far-fetched the reason was, Kian was finally released without charge because of lack of evidence."
"Is there something fishy about this?" Antonio frowned.
