Please Love Me novel Chapter 19

Today is Saturday. We don’t have classes, but I will be a third wheel to Enzo and Monica’s date later.

One message received

-morning princess :)

My chest aches because of the one simple message. He's calling me his princess but he doesn't want to be my prince. Gosh Tricia! When will you wake up?

Me:

-morning..

I stood up to go to the kitchen. I need water...I feel like my throat is dry.

Enzo:

-Monica told me.. thanks Pat..

I held the glass tightly. Is it possible to not talk about Monica today? Am I really needed in this courtship? Damn him.

I did not reply to his text since I have nothing to say. I’m keeping myself busy when my phone beeped.

Enzo:

-still there?

I grimaced at his text. He’s so annoying!

Me:

-yah..

Enzo:

-why are your replies so short?

Me:

-coz I have nothing to say Enzo..

Enzo:

-huh? I thought you missed me..

I didn’t notice that I’m smiling. He’s so dramatic today.

Me:

-why would I miss you? We’re just together last night, right?

Enzo:

-still...i want you to always miss me.

"Sorry Tricia..did I startle you? I’m just kidding..." I thought...nevermind.

"Are you free today?" She asked. I think of the things I will do today.Nothing. I’m actually really bored at the house. Aside from being a third wheel later...eew.

"Hmmm.. nothing much. I have an appointment later at 6 though. Why?"

"Okay..can we meet today?"

"Why?"

“Nothing. I just want to go shopping and make over with you. Don’t worry my treat!”

"Bu--"

"See you at Sheperd mall 10 am sharp! Bye.."

She already dropped our call even before I could say anything. I don’t like girly stuff, that’s why Enzo always teases me that I’m one of the boys. I smiled bitterly...Enzo again.

I arrived at Sheperd early. Yes! This is one of Enzo’s malls. We will not meet here, right? I immediately saw Zyrine. My gosh! I look like a nanny compared to her!

"Tricia.." Zyrine greeted me happily. She really is a sophisticated woman.

"Ready for the make over?"

"Yes Zy..."
