Tricia’s POV
The three jackheads and I are now inside the pavilion. I still feel like an intruder because the room is full of seniors.
“Are you okay?” Zion asks me. I just nod my head because what am I supposed to say? I can’t just ask Zion to take me home.
I catch my breath when Enzo suddenly pulled me.
“Pat..I didn’t think you could be pretty.” Enzo is staring intently at me as he says that. I can feel the heat on my cheeks...I thought he would tease me again.
I looked at him now because I couldn’t earlier. My heart skips a bit when our eyes lock. He is in his formal attire, but his hair is messy. Something becomes a life in my stomach when he smiles. Snap out of it Tricia! It’s just Enzo!
“Marvie, if you are here just to tease me, then go away!” He shrugs his shoulders while smirking. He suddenly runs towards Ashley, his date. My gaze follows him as he goes there…
Ashley is beautiful. I kind of feel jealous… The party has started.
“Tricia...wait here. I’ll just dance with my classmate.” Zion says.
“Go!”
“You sure?” I just nod at him, so he goes. I was about to text Sunny when Enzo sits beside me.
“What are you doing here?” I can;t help, but to snap at him, and I don’t know why.
“You’re so grumpy! Just because you are pretty tonight.” He looks down, but he pokes my sides. I can’t help, but to smile. Every day we are together, it is so rare to get a compliment from him.
