'Enough boys, now I had told Ava that we would come back with a visitor. ' Mum spoke, commanding attention through her serious tone.

'Yeah Ren..uuh mum, is she the lady that you came with earlier? ' Ava asked softly.

'No Ava, that is our new domestic worker. I'm assuming Ray passed my message to you? ' Ava nodded.

'That means that you are a part of this family Ava, no question about it. ' Dad spoke, joining the conversation wholly.

'A debit card will be given to you tomorrow morning.  Use it however you like. ' Dad had taken a liking to this girl. He was acting like her father for real.

Were we ruining this for her? There's no doubt that my parents wanted us to be her family , the one she lost when her mum passed on.
