The car parked at the door was Lusa's red Beetle.
Jason took out the key and opened the door to the yard. The lights in the room on the second floor went out.
Then, hearing the sound of footsteps, Lusa came out of the gate with a red suitcase in her hand. She stood in front of Jason and said in slight surprise, "I thought you wouldn't come back at night. If I knew, I would prepare dinner for you before leaving."
"Are you going to the hospital?" Jason stared at the box in her hand and asked.
"Yeah, Emily is getting better. These two days are very important. I didn't bring my daily necessities. Today, I specially asked for leave to come back and take these..."
Lusa said, looking at Jason. "Are you uncomfortable? Do you need to go to the hospital with me to have a check-up and see Emily by the way?"
Jason's chest and lower abdomen were still in pain.
Although judging from his face, it couldn't be found that he was hurt.
The two men who hit him were obviously good at making secret moves.
They knew very well about their strength and the positions of the attack.
The trauma couldn't be seen from outside, but the internal injury was serious.
Jason didn't want to let others know what had happened today, but he wanted to see Emily, so he nodded and agreed.
"By the way, your classmate, Jenny, right? She came to see you just now, but you were not here. After standing at the door for a while, she left."
When they got in the car, Lusa suddenly thought of something and said to Jason.
"Jenny was here?"
Jason subconsciously took out his mobile phone and did not see Jenny's call or text message, then he thought it was not an important thing. He nodded and went to the St. De Hospital with Lusa.
Emily's operation in Tokyo was very successful.
The operation completed the expected effect.
But because of the sudden cerebral hemorrhage in the process, it also brought an uncertain factor to Emily's future recovery.
The earlier she woke up, the more likely she would be able to fully recover.
In terms of recovery treatments, the St. De Hospital almost had the same level as the Tokyo medical institute. The familiar environment was also more conducive to the patient's emotions. Therefore, after careful consideration, Jason still used some family resources to take Emily back to Nandu, so it was convenient for him to see her at any time.
The car drove slowly into the St. De Hospital. Lusa accompanied Jason to the canteen for a meal, and then went back to her office.
Jason didn't go back that night. After accompanying Emily in the ward till the midnight, he went to sleep in a lounge.
Early morning.
When Jason was sleeping soundly, he was suddenly awakened by the ringtone of his mobile phone.
"Young Master, Madam wants to see you. I am at the hospital gate now. Is it convenient for you to come down?" Uncle Dong's voice came through the phone.
Five minutes later, Jason went downstairs while eating his breakfast. A black Rolls-Royce had been waiting for him. Uncle Dong was wearing a tailored suit and stood at the door.
"Uncle Dong, what happened?" Jason asked when he got in the car.
"I don't know. Madam will tell you personally," Uncle Dong said.
Seeing him keep his mouth shut, Jason lost his interest in asking more. He sat quietly in the back seat, thinking about why his mother called him so early. Was it related to Mick's incident?
