“Good. I feel reassured,” Cory said.

Anthony remained silent. Had Anne not been related to the Lloyds, Anthony would have never been in contact with this family.

Once they arrived at the end of the stairs, Cory added, “I’ll go back to my hotel and will stay here for about two to three days. Anne, if you want to return to this family, call me. No matter what you decide, I won’t force you to do anything.” With that said, he returned to his car.

Anthony stared at Anne intently without a word until they were inside the car. “You want to go back to the Lloyd Family?”

“He said he wants me to. I’m still considering…” She said.

The fact that she was considering it meant that she wanted to be a part of the family, or she would have refused Cory’s offer on the spot. With all the members of her family gone, it was only normal for her to want to return to her roots.

“There’s no harm in returning to the Lloyd Family,” he said.

Anne was surprised that he would say so, but agreed that there was no harm to being officially included in the Lloyd Family.
