Chapter 1103

She did not understand why Anthony would bother to take her home when he should be by Bianca's side.

■Just because I regained consciousness?1 She thought. Anne had a feeling that she and Bianca had simply exchanged roles, but Bianca's relationship with Anthony had not changed at all.

’How ridiculous...' She thought bitterly.

Anthony stared at her intently.

"After checking on the kids, I will go back to living in my mom's mansion. That should be fine, right?" Anne asked. She did not feel the need to discuss her decision with anyone, but decided to ask regardless. Anthony was still the father of her children and she had to make herself clear to prevent the situation from worsening for anyone.

"You know that I didn't move that simply because I couldn't see." She tried her best to remain composed. Anthony was in love with Bianca and Anne knew it, so there was no point for her to share Anthony's bed any longer.

"You live in the Royal Mansion because we are married. I thought you knew that," he said.

"It's just a piece of paper. What good is it? I didn't even want to marry you. Oh, Bianca desperately wants it, though, so maybe you can give it to her instead," Anne said casually, not feeling upset at all. She would never accept what did not belong to her.

The temperature in the car dropped at her words and Anne tensed as she met Anthony's eyes.

"Back when you lost consciousness from the accident, I was thinking that I should lock you up in a room forever, or brainwash you into obeying me. Good thing for you, you lost your memories."

Anne's breath caught with disbelief as she listened to him. Though Anthony never got to implement his plans, Anne was still terrified at the thought of it. His threats filled her heart with fear and she knew that he would resume carrying out those plans if she refused to obey.

’You are out of line here, Anthony Marwood!" She said with a trembling voice. "You...don't even love me!"

"So long as you stop trying to leave, everything is going to be fine. Money, power, you can have it all. Don't be greedy, Anne," he warned forcefully.
