“You do know. You just don’t dare to explain because this has something to do with Jeremy.”

“Nothing happened between us,” she insisted.

He narrowed his eyes, realizing that Beth would not have been the one who threatened to come if it was indeed Jeremy who tried to help Ashlynn.
