“Is Papa going into the office?” Chloe asked.

“Yes, I will be back for lunch,” Anthony said before looking at Anne. “I will bring you out and play this afternoon.”

“Yay!”

The kids were happy, and Anne did not say anything more.

Anthony entered his Rolls Loyce, and the car drove away from the Royal Mansion until it disappeared from her vision.

Anthony took out his phone in the car. He did not even read the message but deleted it right away.

He then called Oliver to remind him, “Please help to handle Lucia.”

“Sure.”

Lucia waited at home from the morning until noon. The dining table was full of the dishes she cooked.

She thought the best way to get a man was to get his stomach.

She had always cooked every time Anthony visited.

She thought that as soon as Anthony got used to her cooking, he would be hooked.

Lucia was delighted when she heard the car noise outside.

She knew that Anthony would definitely show up because she was not like the other girls.

However, as soon as she got out, she saw the stranger’s car and the person who came out of it. Lucia was confused. She asked, “Who are you? Where is Mr. Marwood?”

Even though Lucia was being kept here, she was never in touch with anybody around Anthony.

Naturally, she did not know who Oliver was.

“I am Mr. Marwood’s secretary, Oliver. Don’t you wait for Mr. Marwood anymore, he will not be here ever again. Your relationship with him ends here,” Oliver said.

“What?” Lucia was shocked. It was her birthday. Why would she receive such bad news on her own birthday?

“Did I… Did I do anything wrong? I can change…” She could not think of any other reasons.

“Don’t need to. I am sure Mr. Marwood had told you the terms before?” Oliver asked.
