Chapter 1596
At that moment, Anne had already boarded a cruise ship leaving Luton.
She only had to avoid Anthony's bodyguards and the surveillance cameras if she wanted to walk out of the apartment. That was a piece of cake for her. She did not let others notice the specific time she left to avoid being pursued.
Why was she so passionate last night? Of course, it was to lower Anthony's vigilance.
As she had wished, Anthony was still sound asleep when she left.
Anthony would probably be very angry when he woke up. She could imagine that.
However, she had no choice. She could not be so selfish.
What if both she and Anthony were infected? The children could not lose their mother and their father.
Anne stood by the railing and let the sea breeze blow her hair. She was staring into the distance in the direction of Luton, but she looked away and lowered her head. She rolled up her sleeve and saw that fluid had started to ooze from the ulcers.
It was a little itchy, but it was not serious because she had already taken the medication.
The medication they had so far could only reduce the pain of the infected person and let the toxins spread slower. Therefore, if she wanted to resolve it once and for all, she had to find the cure.
Why did Anne not take a flight? It was not because he was afraid Anthony would find out about her whereabouts. Instead, it was because she wanted to let Tommy find out her whereabouts.
She searched for a hideout by thinking like Tommy, who did not want to be discovered by Anthony. The cruise ship was probably one of the places.
When Anne walked toward her room, she noticed something unusual behind her. That slightly lifted her sullen spirits.
She walked forward calmly while wondering about the identity of the person behind her. He would probably be Tommy's man, would he not?
It seemed like she had bet on the right track.
She held back her impulse to attack.
She was waiting to be attached.
Someone covered her nose and mouth from behind. Anne's body reacted very quickly to the pungent smell. Her body went limp, and then everything turned to darkness.
"She's so pretty. She caught my eye at first glance."
"Is she going to wake up soon? I'm not interested in an unconscious body."
Anne's consciousness slowly became clear. Then, she saw two men crouching next to her.
She was so shocked that she immediately struggled to sit up.
It was then she realized her wrists were bound by a rope. The two men in front of her looked perverted. They were just criminals who wanted to take advantage of her.
Anne went from feeling hopeful to feeling hopeless.
She thought they were Tommy's men, but it was very clear that they were not!
"You're awake? Don't worry. We won't harm you. As long as you play with us, we will let you go. After all, this is a long journey, and it would feel empty without a woman! How about this? If you don't feel comfortable, we will pay you. We won't be playing with you for nothing." The man was extremely shameless and had great unearned confidence.
Anne was so pissed that she almost laughed.
Not only was she not nervous and scared, but she even felt it was ridiculous.
Even if her entire body was bound by a rope, she could take care of these small fries easily, let alone only her wrists were bound by a rope.
However, if she had just broken herself free, then it would be pointless for her to be bound, would it not?
She might as well stir up a big commotion. Perhaps some miracle might happen.
She kicked one of the men, then rolled off the bed. While running, she kept shouting for help.
"Don't come over! Help!!" Anne disengaged the deadbolt on the door, opened the door, and rushed out of there. "Help! Save me!"
There was nobody along the long corridor. It was during the day, so people would only be on the deck or in other places. Who would be in their rooms?
How could the two men let her get away?
They quickly chased her from behind.
"B*tch! Don't run! The price is still negotiable!"
"We really would pay you!"
