Chapter 264
It was a red light again, and they had to wait for one more minute.
The driver was not in a hurry at all.
"Is she not breathing at all?”
The other crew member placed his finger under Anne's nostrils. 1'1 cannot... I cannot feel her breathing anymore. What should we do?

"This is an emergency. Can we not care so much about other people? If she dies, we cannot bear the consequences!"
"Exactly. Plus, she is an employee of the Marwood Group. We cannot afford the interrogation after that!"
The driver replied casually, "What does this have to do with us? We did send her to the hospital. She just did not make it in time. I am trying my best to make it quick already, but this is the traffic light."
The crew member was nervous. "How far are we?"
"Let me see..." The driver pulled out his phone. "Half an hour more."
They would probably not be able to make it under even forty minutes, judging by the driver's driving skills.
Anne’s condition could not wait.
The crew members exchanged a look and then glanced at the unconscious Anne. They had no other options.
They could only think that this woman was unlucky.
After all, they tried their best.
Suddenly, the door was pulled open from the outside, and
everyone in the car jumped.
"Hey, what are you doing?" the driver cried.
Tommy's eyes looked mischievous. "Your car is too slow. Better to go with mine."
"No way. Who are you? Do you believe that I will..." The driver did not allow him to bring Anne away. He saw that Tommy carried Anne and hastily followed, attempting to stop him.
Tommy's scary gaze swept past. "If you stop me, I will make sure you go to hell. Remember my name, Tommy Marwood, now f*ck off!"
Then, as the driver was still stunned, Tommy placed Anne into his car.
He revved up the engine and then immediately disappeared.
When Anne was sent to the hospital's Emergency Department, she had not been breathing for quite some time.
The doctor said if they had been ten minutes late, Anne would have died.
Anne woke up and saw the white ceiling above her. Her eyes were still swollen and could only open a tiny slit.
She could feel her eyelids were heavy.
"You're awake."
Anne turned and saw Tommy. She did not seem surprised at all.
She closed her eyes. "Am I much better now?"
"Better than what you initially looked like." Tommy leaned against the back of the chair and said calmly.
Anne looked at the ray that shone through the window. It was sunny, which meant it had been two to three hours since her
allergic reaction got triggered.
"You are pretty cruel to yourself, aren't you?" Tommy asked, "You reckoned Bianca would get her driver to send you."
"If I wanted to kill someone, that would be my only option.
Otherwise, I would still die if I could be sent to the hospital on time," Anne said.
