Chapter 538
"An orphanage?" Moona knew what kind of place that was, but no matter what, she still had feelings for the children.
She could not bear to throw the cute kids into an orphanage where no one was in charge and did not care if they lived or died.
When Bianca saw her hesitation, she lost her patience. "You don't want to, do you? Then I'll tell Lucas now!" she said, making a gesture to take out her mobile phone to make a call.
"Yes! I am willing to!" Moona was so frightened that she nodded her head repeatedly.
A triumphant smile appeared on Bianca's face as she stood up. "Then I'll wait for your good news."
The door closed with a thump. Moona fell into a deep state of struggle.
Her mobile phone rang, startling her.
Seeing that the caller was Anne, she was even more reluctant to answer it.
"Strange, why isn't the nanny answering my call.... " Anne mumbled.
The door to the ward pushed open, and Sarah came in with a plate of aglio olio. She then set it aside on the table.
"Why did you cook this?” Anne asked.
"Don't you love the aglio olio I make the most? It tastes the best, and no one else can cook it as I do," Sarah said.
Anne saw her mother's satisfied look and smiled. "It's true that I haven't eaten it for a long time."
The aglio olio was put on the table near her bed. "Does it smell good?" asked Sarah.
Anne took a deep breath and said, "Of course!"
Sarah took a fork and stirred it to let the heat dissipate a little, "It's a little hot. Stir it a few more times, so you don't burn your tongue." Looking at Anne acting like a kitten that squatted on the side waiting to eat, she could not help but laugh. "Isn't it good to have me around? How can you be able to take care of yourself in a situation like this? It worries me even more when you're taken care of by someone else."
"Yes, I'm so glad to have you," Anne answered.
This was also why she had to be safe, so her three little ones would not be orphaned.
Even if Anthony decided to take care of the kids, he and Bianca might have children of their own. What would happen to her three little kids then?
"When you go back to Luton, you must try to get me to follow, okay? Don't you be afraid of Anthony. Mom will defend you." Sarah was ready to go all out. "I’ve already died once anyway. What am I afraid of?"
However, Anne did not want to 'die' again.
If only she could communicate properly with Anthony.
There was a knock on the door, and Dr. Brown came in. "Are you eating?"
"Is it time for a check-up?"
"No, I just wanted to tell you that we're going back to Luton tomorrow, and you'll continue your recovery at the hospital there," said Dr. Brown.
Anne sighed in relief. "Great, finally, we can go back. By the way, I'm going back with my Mom." It must be Anthony who permitted them to return to Luton, but since he had not appeared since he left, she had to get some useful information from Dr. Brown.
If not, she would have to call Anthony to plead for mercy.
There was not much hope in her heart. 1
After all, Anthony was not the kind of person who would change his mind easily...
