The temperature in the air dropped.

"No one asked her to do that, right?" Dorothy retorted. "She gave birth to the children behind Anthony's back. If she hadn't been so selfish and foolish, we wouldn't be in so much trouble right now. "That's not what I meant..." Though she did not understand his intention in asking such a question, she denied it all the same.

"Anthony, let Chloe live with Anne and you can keep the boys. Since you are all in Luton, the kids can still see one another frequently," Nigel said, ’ Anne, what do you think?"

Anne lowered her gaze and her tears scrolled down her face. Though she had discussed with Sarah and Nigel ahead of time, her heart still ached at the choice before her. No matter how hard she tried, her head felt heavy and she could not quite bring herself to speak.
