“Sure. Let me know if you need anything,” Anne said.

“I will.” Ashlynn hung up and turned to look at the man staring at her by the bed. “I’ll go with you. I’ve already told Ms. Vallois about it.”

Anne knew that Ashlynn could not speak her mind because Corentin was watching her, because they could not risk alerting Corentin in any way.

Anne remembered that Ashlynn still had her keys, but dismissed the thought shortly after since she had spare keys at home.
