Chapter 936
Anne went to the company in Anthony’s car the next day.
After dropping her off at the office, Anthony left.
Anne did not remember anything she did at the company before, so Ken walked her through, including how she dealt with Mr. Walker of the sales department.
He also pulled up the reports from that time and showed them to her.
Anne thought that her former self must have been capable and decided to learn more.
She spent the whole morning learning about the company’s operations and plans, especially the recent cooperation with the Lloyd Group.
As soon as Xander and Ken saw Anne, they noticed the decoration on her hands. It was clear what was going on.
It seemed that the person who would get the title of ‘Mrs. Marwood‘ had been decided.
Xander rubbed the pen on his forehead twice and wondered if Mr. Marwood was taking advantage of Anne.
“I negotiated this deal?” Anne asked Ken and Xander, looking at the date.
Ken was stunned for a moment and said, “The heir of the Lloyd Group is your uncle.”
“Uncle?” Anne frowned. “Anthony never told me…”
There had been a fake sister before, and now there was an uncle. Would that not make him her father’s younger brother?
Xander said, “Maybe Mr. Marwood didn’t say it because it never came up. After all, the Lloyd Group is a relative you just met.”
“Just met?”
“It’s because of your father. Your father severed ties with the family in the early years. He had a car accident two months ago, and Corentin Lloyd, the heir of the Lloyd Group, showed up. Only then did he know that such a person existed. I heard that there is not only an uncle but also a grandfather we didn’t know of. Mr. Marwood didn’t tell you this, considering that their relationship is not very close. For this cooperation, the Lloyd family should be planning to give us some sort of compensation . They are just a business partner, don’t get too serious about it, Xander said.
‘I see,‘ Anne thought.
