“Papa, are you jealous? We won’t call him ‘Daddy‘ again, then!” Charlie promised.

“We know that you are our papa!” Chris added.

“You are not allowed to call him anything!” Anthony lectured darkly.

“You are not being reasonable!” Charlie protested angrily.

“Do you want to copy a few more chapters?” Anthony threatened.

Both Chris and Charlie were instantly terrified and shook their heads frantically. “No!”

“Go back to your room to sleep!”

The two hurried outside without hesitation.

Anne was not aware that her sons were punished, and neither did the triplets mention anything out of fear toward their father, not wanting to copy any more chapters.
