Predestined Marriage novel Chapter 121

Finishing the dinner, Summer pulled Douglas to his room.

After entering the room, Summer closed the door mysteriously.

Douglas was puzzled. "What are you doing? When you pulled me, my cousin was angry. You even closed the door. He will throw me out."

"He won't." Although Leonardo was strict with Douglas, he allowed Douglas to stay here. It meant that he liked Douglas.

"When he throws me out, you have to help me." Douglas shrugged and sat on the desk. "Go ahead. What do you want? Do you decide to get a divorce?"

"You're a child. Don't talk about the things like that!" Summer knocked him on the head fiercely.

Douglas touched his head and shouted exaggeratedly, "It hurts!"

Summer didn't joke with him, "Is your cousin always like this?"

When Leonardo was "Douglas", he wasn't as vicious as he was now even though he had a bad temper.

After Douglas became Leonardo, he was more complicated and he was manipulative.

He knew what she had done, but he remained calm and didn't expose her. After he was Leonardo, he became more unscrupulous.

"He has always been like this. He's sinister." Douglas thought of something terrible and tucked his neck into the collar. "I'm serious. I advise you to divorce him. Do you like my brother?"

Summer was astonished. "Didn't you ask me to be your girlfriend?"

"I don't think you'll like me. A gentle person like my brother is more suitable for you. He's better than Leonardo. Leonardo has a bad temper!"

Douglas made a face.

Summer laughed and teased him, "Do you know how many girls want to marry your brother? Even if your brother is willing to marry me, it will be my second marriage. I'm not worthy of him."

"You're nice. You deserve him," Douglas said casually, but he was sincere.

Summer was surprised. Was she that nice?

Summer kept silent. Douglas felt embarrassed. He scratched his head and explained, "I lived in your house. I thought you would beat me up. Unexpectedly, you cooked for me."

...

Summer explained, "You said your name was Douglas. That was why I didn't ask someone to beat you up."

"Even if I weren't Douglas, you wouldn't ask someone to beat you up."

"How do you know?"

"It's none of your business." Douglas pushed her out of the door. "Get out. I have to do my homework. You have so many questions."

He closed the door!

The door was closed.

Summer turned around and smiled.

What an ignorant kid!

When she walked into the room, Leonardo was reading the documents and leaning against the headboard. After he heard the door open, he didn't look up.

He went to bed so early.

Summer didn't speak to him and went straight to the bathroom.

When she came out, Leonardo leaned against the headboard and stared at Summer.

Summer looked down at her nightgown, which was conservative. She walked slowly to the bedside, pulled away the blanket and lay down.
