He was also doing all this to punish her… To prevent her from meeting up with Mark! How shrewd…! Now that Xavia had seen how much of a scheming man he could be, she couldn’t help but wonder what he’d do to Sophia if she enraged him any further…!
Now looking incredibly pale, she couldn’t help but stutter, “W-what do you plan to do to me…?!”
Upon hearing that, Zivon scoffed, “Your main task is to be nicer and to stop trying to piss me off! Now get dressed already and head downstairs to prepare dinner!”
Before Xavia could reply, he had already strode out of the room, leaving the frightened woman petrified in place… Be nicer…? The way he put it almost made it seem like he was trying to coax a child… But even so, it was clear that his words were simultaneously a threat! Bah, so be it! Sophia was here too so she may as well get some food ready…!
With that in mind, Xavia sighed before changing into a conservative dress and heading downstairs… For some reason, Maison wasn’t present, though Xavia simply assumed that it was because Sophia was here. Nevertheless, that meant that she only had to consider the adults’ preferences when preparing the meals…
“Are there any foods you dislike, Miss Harrison?” asked Xavia when she met up with Sophia.
Sophia herself was left surprised when she heard that. Had Zivon actually told Xavia to cook for them…? In the end, she wearily replied, “…I’m not a fan of spicy food.”
“Got it,” said Xavia as she put on an apron before starting to cook… Since she was no stranger to cooking, she was able to have several dishes laid out on the table within half an hour.
It was around then when Zivon walked over and sat at the dining table, looking as prestigious as ever… Unbeknownst to the silent man, Sophia was feeling highly displeased! To think that Xavia was this good at cooking! Had she gotten this good at the craft just to capture the stomachs of her victims…?!
As her irritation peaked, Sophia was unable to stop herself from saying, “…I’m sorry, but I forgot to mention that I’m allergic to garlic.”
