Following a snort, Xavia glared at Jenna before saying, “Oh, I won’t be getting the death sentence anytime soon. Not when I haven’t done anything wrong! For starters, though I did aim for their eyes and necks, it was only because they had drugged and attempted to rape me! I should also add that my stabbing wasn’t what killed them!”

“Also, I had only escaped from prison in search of help! After all, those guards weren’t even guards of that prison! They were impersonators!”

After saying all that, four individuals stood up… and among them, was Mark. Clearing his throat, he then said, “I can testify that. I had gone to the prison to visit her that night, but not only was the place dark, the gates were locked as well. What’s more, there didn’t seem to be anyone inside. Just as I was contemplating whether I should attempt to enter, Xavia came limping out. Her right leg was bleeding, and she collapsed to the ground shortly after she saw me!”

Next up, was Matthew. After revealing a few photographs, he was prompted to add, “Here are the wounds that Miss Lockhart suffered. I took these on that very night, and since there are timestamps at the corner, I couldn’t have faked all this. I also have photographic evidence that she had been poisoned. You see, aside from being fed hallucinogens, I found that she was also given a deadly drug known as Dixyth.”

Upon hearing that, the third person, who was the leader of the prison, showed a few photographs of the criminals and guards before saying, “Those two aren’t my men. In fact, after digging around a little, I found out that those two had committed several crimes before! They’ve even been jailed in the past!”

With that said, the final person, a forensic investigator, revealed photographs of the corpses as he added, “Here, you can clearly see that the wound marks aren’t that deep. In fact, they barely even penetrated their main arteries! With that said, it’s impossible for those wounds to have killed them!”

“As for why I had access to the corpses… It’s because Miss Lockhart had told Mr. Newman to call for medical assistance right before she fainted. Because of that, the two were in an ambulance within ten minutes of the escape. Regardless, they wouldn’t have died had they not been given Dixyth during their surgeries! As Dr. Rudner mentioned earlier, Dixyth is deadly and rather similar to Dichlorvos.”

“The difference is, it barely leaves any traces behind as it corrodes its victim’s internal organs and blood vessels. Had I not conducted the special autopsy, none of this would’ve come to light! For further proof, here’s the autopsy report,” concluded the forensic investigator as he placed the report before him.

As one would expect, everyone was left utterly shocked by all this!
