When the plane finally landed, the first thing that greeted them was a gale of freezing air… Were they in the Arctic or something?!
Upon getting off the plane, Hershel’s boots immediately sank into the snow. He was no longer young, so he almost toppled over! Thankfully, Dylan was able to catch him in time, and he was prompted to say, “Slow down, father. The weather’s truly outrageous here! How are we even expected to mine!”
Even Helen said, “They’re clearly using the tests as an indirect way to kill us! With that said, can’t we go home already…?!”
“Again, you tried to kill her first, so stop whining already! We need to start mining tomorrow, so let’s find a place to rest for the time being!” retorted the irked Zivon.
“But…! But we’re penniless! How are we supposed to survive this snowstorm without the money to find someplace to stay?!” yelled Helen, instantly making Zivon see the reality of the situation. Damn it, he had forgotten about that! Now, they were literally powerless and broke in a foreign country… Hell, Ian had even forbidden him from using his identity to get around!
In the end, he looked around before saying, “…Let’s sleep in the airport’s lobby tonight.”
“You…! You want me to sleep where…?!” roared the infuriated Hershel.
“Zivon, Father is no longer in peak condition! What if something bad happens to him while we’re sleeping there? Look, love that woman all you want, but you can’t treat Father like this!” added Dylan.
Helen herself then squatted before grumbling, “Just kill me already…! Why do I have to endure such suffering when you’re the one who wants to marry her? It’s not fair…!”
Getting even angrier as he heard them whine, Zivon ultimately turned around while saying, “Reality check. Ian’s making things difficult for me and Xav because of you three! Feel free to sleep on the streets if you don’t wish to follow me to the lobby!”
