Smiling in response, Wendy then said, “And I’m glad to have a kind daughter-in-law like you… Well, I’ll be taking a bath before I head back downstairs, so I’ll leave you be now.”

Nodding in response, Xavia couldn’t help but sigh with relief. With how things were going, her parents would no longer have any beef with her…

Just as she was about to head down, however, Wendy suddenly walked up to her again to add, “Speaking of which, be more careful of Fiona… Though I won’t deny that my opinion of her rose a little after seeing how much she cared for Zivon, I could hardly believe how shameless she was when she came over last night.
