Chuckling in response, Zivon replied, “The price doesn’t matter since it’s for the sake of this marriage.”
…In the past, grand celebrations like this made emperors free criminals and host large banquets… Even so, it wasn’t hard to imagine that Zivon had spent way more than any pre-existing emperor on this wedding alone! He was just that extraordinary…!
Either way, watching as the kids and guests continued trying to grab all the gift cards that they could, Xavia couldn’t help but want to join in. After all, who would say no to free stuff? Then again, they weren’t exactly free since the money came from her husband! With that in mind, the more gift cards she collected, the fewer losses they would suffer!
Alas, before she could even grab her first gift card, Zivon had already pulled her back while saying, “Don’t even try. Look, not only are you a Frankston now, but you’re also my wife. You can literally get whatever you please, so no hogging for gift cards.”
While the firework display was one thing, giving money away so casually was another. Feeling slightly defeated, Xavia grumbled, “…Even if you’re rich, I don’t think overspending like this is wise… It makes me wonder whether you truly know how to probably manage your family’s finances…”
Chuckling at how pouty she was, Zivon replied, “On the contrary, I’m too good at managing my money to the point where I never know what to spend the cash on… With that in mind, I figured that I may as well use it on our wedding. Even so, I’ll still be counting on you to help me spend my money from here on out. Otherwise, expect our yearly anniversaries to be this grand.”
…This man… Before she was able to grumble again, Zivon added, “Alright, no more pouting… Just toss the bouquet so that we can move on.”
…True enough, she still had to do that… But since everyone was preoccupied with grabbing gift cards, would there even be anyone to catch the flowers?
Since Xavia wasn’t replying, Zivon took the chance to say, “Make sure to toss the bouquet to the most loving couple you can see… That way, we can ensure that our marriage will be just as long-lasting…”
It took her a while, but she eventually muttered, “…I’ll give it to Mom and Dad, then.”
“Sounds good. Since you can do that later, let’s move on to our next itinerary, then,” said Zivon as he began leading her toward their bridal car…
