Glad that she could finally get a moment to breathe, Xavia then said, “Y-yeah, I’ll be here… Now hurry up and leave!”
Nodding in response, Zivon then kissed the back of her hand one final time before getting up to leave.
Upon closing the door behind him, he realized that someone was trying to enter. Not even bothering to look at who it was, he was quick to say, “Take good care of her, and don’t let her out of your sight.”
Before Jenna could even answer, Zivon had already walked off, prompting her to sigh with a subtle smile. Looks like he was too happy with the news to even care about who he was talking to…
Shaking her head, Jenna then entered the room and said, “With how nice and responsible he is, I’m sure you’ll quickly find that he’s an excellent husband and father…”
Upon realizing that Jenna was here, Xavia smiled as she replied, “…Yeah… he’s super nice to me…”
Truth be told, she was already really happy with how he was treating her now… and if this was what she was feeling when she hadn’t even recovered her memories yet, she could only imagine how overjoyed her past self would be…
Moving back to Zivon, he and several other members of the medical team spent six entire hours meticulously analyzing the data. Ian was there throughout the process as well, standing solemnly at the side as he awaited the results.
Regardless, once the other members began leaving, Ian quickly walked up to Zivon and asked, “Well? Is anything wrong with Xavia’s body?”
Following a slight pause, Zivon replied, “…Let’s talk outside.”
As he left the room, he began removing his gloves and protective suit… and after rubbing the sweat off his forehead, Zivon added, “So, Whitney’s poison has mostly been detoxified, and only a tiny amount remains in her system. Thanks to Xavia’s special blood, however, we don’t really need to interfere that much more for her to fully heal. That’s the good news.”
