That night, I went home feeling miserable.

Clutching my children close to my heart I laid wide awake in the middle of the light. Soon two glittering blue irises looked back at me sensing my mood.”

“Uauyaaa” I laughed heartily, the sadness dispersing a little when I realized my son Liam looked shocked when he saw that I was not sleeping at the time when he was so used to crying without anyone bothering him.

He almost looked like a thief who was caught red–handed.

“You should go to sleep Liam,” but instead of listening to me, Liam nudged his brother Aaron, and soon the twins were preparing for a screaming contest in the middle of the night when a soft tapping at her window jolted us from our relaxed gestures.

Since it was a new villa I purchased after being troubled by Alex’s mother, I went on guard immediately not knowing what kind of danger was lurking outside.

I kept a finger on my mouth motioning the children to remain silent as I got up and looked outside from the window.

My breath hitched when I saw Damien crouching down and almost comically sorting small pebbles to throw at the windowpane so as not tb shatter it completely.

It looked like not only my sons but their father too was using all the silly ways to make me smile.!!

“Elenal” he called out my name softly when I opened the door and proceeded to take the twins from my arm softly.

“Are they creating trouble and not letting you sleep?” Damien looked at the small boys with a brow mised.

Liam and Aaron on the other hand had no clue that they were being scolded and giggled making Damien sigh.

I cannot win against these two devils.“!

“It’s you who is spoiling them.” I smiled making Damien take my hand gently.

“I know I am very late Elena, but can you please come out with me?” I nodded following him!!

“What is it that you wanted to show me-”

Before I could finish the sentence, the night sky lit up with an explosion of vibrant glittering colors. Fireworks bursted one after another in the sky in dazzling form:ations.

The entire darkness was filled with light. I gasped when Damien held my hand and took me further to display a garden of roses decorated with my name written in between.}

Damien turned to me, his expression filled with warmth and determination. He knelt down, laking out a small box from his pocket!! “Please don’t be afraid of my love Elena.”

“You know what? My Elena is a fighter a fighter who will always rise above difficulties.!!

Anyone who dares to threaten my woman and children should not blame me for being ruthless so trust me Elena, trust me to protect you, to love you and to respect you” Damien said before opening the box displaying the gorgeous ring.!!
