Old Mr. Fisher lay on the lounge chair, admiring the scenery in the yard, when his assistant hurriedly walked in and handed him an iPad. 

“Mr. Fisher, this is the latest news involving young Mrs. Fisher at Barson Group” 

“Oh? Is it Robert’s new wife? What happened to her?” The old man, upon hearing it involved his granddaughter–in–law, put on his glasses and took the iPad from his assistant, looking at it intently. 

“Barson Group has already taken down the video, but I managed to retrieve it. The public opinion online regarding young Mrs. Fisher is very unfavorable. Should we intervene?” the assistant asked. 

“Outrageous! These people have no shame!” 

After watching the video, Old Mr. Fisher slammed the armrest of his chair heavily. He hadn’t expected his granddaughter–in–law’s family to be so malicious. 

“Call Anna.” 

Anna had just finished a meeting when she saw her father–in–law’s call and quickly answered. 

Over the years, her father–in–law had treated her like his own daughter. 

“Father, what’s the matter?” 

“Anna, Robert’s new wife, the girl named Elisa Sammers, is that right?” 

Anna was a bit surprised by her father–in–law’s question. She had shown Old Mr. Fisher Robert and Elisa’s marriage certificate when she returned. She didn’t understand why he suddenly asked this.

“No, nothing. I’m going to New York. Old Mr. Fisher’s sudden announcement surprised both his assistant and Anna. 

“Dad, why are you going there?” 

“I really want to see Robert. It’s been six months since I last saw him. I don’t know how he’s doing.” 

“If you want to go, I’ll arrange a private jet to pick you up tomorrow,”

While he genuinely wanted to see his grandson, what was more important was to stand by his granddaughter–in–law, Elisa!

“Really?” Elisa’s tone was full of excitement, she could hardly hide it. 

“Are you really happy to know that Robert could wake up at any moment?” Smith asked, surprised by the 

young woman’s reaction. 

“Yes, and I hope he wakes up today! Or tomorrow, in other words, as soon as possible. She replied, knowing that when Robert woke up, she didn’t have to be pregnant with his child because he definitely wasn’t willing to have children with her. 

If Robert doesn’t want to, and Mrs. Fischer won’t ignore her mother because of that, then she would be free again and by her mother’s side. 

“Mr. Robert, he will definitely wake up. Dr. Smith stared at Robert again, and deep down, she hoped that the heartless man lying in bed had heard how much she wanted him to wake up, even though she was such a innocent girl, she still thought of Robert with all her heart. 

Elisabeth also looked at Robert and sighed lightly, she begged him to wake up before she had to get pregnant with his child because if that happened after she was already pregnant, it would be very tragic. 

“If only I could know when he will wake up. Elisa almost whispered. 

Dr. Smith thought to herself: If you work harder tonight, your dream will come true! If only you were pregnant with his baby, that would be wonderful! 

However, she looked at the camera and was speechless again, after all, Robert instructed that Elisa wouldn’t know that he was awake for now, and she still didn’t know what Fischer’s plan was exactly and where he wanted to go.

“It’s not guaranteed, but there is a chance.” the doctor replied, noticing that Elisa’s face was as red as a boiled shrimp. 

“So rest early, and I won’t bother you anymore today. With that, the doctor immediately left, leaving only

Robert and Elisa in that enormous room. 

Elisa pulled up a chair and sat next to Robert, unaware that the man beside her was fully awake. 

Robert felt his headache subside, probably due to the medication. In short, this was the only moment he felt comfortable since waking up. 

Was Smith crazy? Didn’t she hear what that woman just said? She couldn’t wait to conceive his child! 

How innocent could a woman like that be? 

“Dr. Smith said your brain waves are responding, so that means you’re reacting to something in the outside world?” Elisa murmured to herself.
