“We need it. When summer comes, we can go to the beach and use it,” John explained. 

“Well, if you need, I can help you look for one. Elisa said. 

Til look for one. Just look for yourself. I’ll be the one to pay for it,” John replied. 

“Are you sure?” Elisa wanted some confirmation. “I currently don’t need it. But if you insist, then I’ll look 

for one.” 

“Better.” John smiled and heaved a sigh of relief. 

Upon entering the shop, the shop assistant greeted them with a wide smile. But the two didn’t know the shop assistant had already judged them the way other people do.

“Did you say something on your own?” John asked the shop assistant.

“Okay,” replied John. 

Since she didn’t want John to be furious, she checked all the sunglasses displayed. Seeing one pair of sunglasses, she tried it on, looked into the mirror, and concluded it fit her. 

“I love this one. Hmm, how much–Gosh! It’s so damn expensive!” she exclaimed. 

Elisa checked the price tag and didn’t want to choose any other sunglasses, aware it would be just as expensive. 

“Do you want to buy that one, Miss?” The shop assistant asked with a fake smile. “It fits you.” 

Elisa shook her head, waved her hand, and replied, “No, it’s expensive.” 

I’m sure the grandpa with you can afford it, The shop assistant added, smirking as if mocking Elisa’s current situation.

Seeing the sunglasses, Elisa could confirm that they would somewhat fit her, but the price made her not want to touch them.

“Miss, this looks good on you. Besides, this is the most expensive item here in our shop,’ said the shop assistant, trying to persuade her to buy it. She even tried to show her the logo. This one is designed by the one and only Daniel. He’s a famous designer. 

Elisa felt pressured. Seeing the shop assistant and John eyeing her, both expected her to accept it. Deep inside her, she didn’t want to. Knowing Daniel was a renowned designer, all the watches under his brand were worth hundreds of thousands more or less. She wouldn’t want to waste a lot of money. 

Before she could decline, John came close and got the sunglasses on the shop assistant and insisted, “I’ll help you try it on. Besides, we will not buy it if it does not fit you.”

Elisa let John wear it for her while the shop assistant held a mirror. 

“See that? It fits you well. So I have decided to buy it,” said John. He removed the sunglasses from her and returned them to the shop assistant. “And I’ll pay using my card.”

Meanwhile, Elisa paused and almost could not process it in her mind..
