President Williams Woos His Ex-wife Again novel Chapter 58

Beth laughed so hard that she couldn’t breathe, and her tears were flowing. She became more and more insane, looking as if she was stunned by the devil.

What did she hear?

Was she dreaming?

The man who once despised her, the man who once trampled her under his feet, said...

As long as she said she didn't want him to leave, he would stay.

Was she crazy? Otherwise, how could she hear Aaron saying such things?

This was really ridiculous and absurd.

Aaron's face darkened. “What do you mean? What are you laughing at?”

Beth laughed for a long time, and then she calmed down. She raised her eyelids and said with self-deprecation, “Aaron, I think it's not me who’s going crazy, but you.”

“Beth!” His eyes surged with coldness, and the throbbing that had just appeared was swept away in an instant.

Beth’s expression remained unchanged, lying there like a dead body. “You won’t leave if I don't want you to go? Don't you hate me so much? Are you staying to see me as a joke now? Have you seen enough? I had nothing left with me because of you. Do you still want to trample on my heart now?”

Tears fell from the corners of her eyes and she whispered idiotically, “No way.”

“I won't be like that again.”

Aaron wanted to tell her that he didn't stay to see her as a joke.

But what explanation could he give?

The fog in his mind dispersed, and a reality suddenly appeared in front of him.

His dark pupils shrank violently.

Did she want him to admit that he felt sorry for her?

Damn it, really fucking damn it! How could he feel sorry for her? Why would he want to stay with her?

He shouldn't have this kind of emotion!

However, if it was not because of that, why would he say those words involuntarily?

At this point, Aaron didn't even know what he was thinking.

He sipped his lips tightly, and his pale lips outlined an icy arc.

“Yes!”

“I just want to see you as a joke. You are in such pain now. How can I not stay and appreciate your embarrassment and misery?” In a twinkling of an eye, he said coldly.

She was so disdainful that if she knew it, she would laugh at him.

If she didn't care, why should he worry about her?

These words fell to Beth's ear, and she felt as if her heart had been severely stabbed and it was bloody.

She was discouraged and she said with a self-deprecating smile, “So, have you seen enough?”

“Then could you leave now?”

Fine. She was a joke. He had seen enough anyway.

She didn't care anymore.

She really didn't care at all.

She just felt that now she was really tired, as if she didn't even have the strength to breathe. She just wanted to close her eyes and just fall asleep. And it was best that she wouldn’t wake up forever.

Sinking into the endless darkness, she would not want to wake up to face this broken reality.

Aaron was always an arrogant person. When he heard Beth drive him away, he naturally wouldn't stay any longer.

Aaron turned around with a cold breath.

“Beth, you just wait here to die!”

He left in the rain, and the door of the villa was kicked and rattled by him.

The huge breaking sound, like a cold blade, pierced through Beth’s internal organs.

She struggled to breathe, and there was thick blood between her lips and teeth.

The atmosphere suddenly quieted down without warning, and the surroundings were horribly quiet.

Beth curled up on the sofa, and her bandaged hands couldn't even move. Her breath was very light, and tears rolled out and blurred her face.

Jacky.
