Having been working at Kya Young(changed into J&Y Group) for half a month, Nina Morrison, the director of planning department, works like sailing with the wind. She takes charge of the business proposal for Gray Group, which has passed the first round of approval. Raymond Lauren highly appreciates her efficiency and creativity.
Nina Morrison relives as well. Although Kya Young’s building stands next to the building of Gray Group, she has never seen Lucien Gray for this half a month.
The only thing that makes her upset is Raymond Lauren. He seems to favor Nina much more than he does to other colleagues. Every time she worked late, and he must also worked late. Then he would drop her off on his way home.
She thought their home are really in one direction. Until she heard someone in the administration department said that Raymond Lauren lives in the south of the city.
But Nina Morrison lives in the north!
“In one direction” said by Raymond Lauren is just an excuse.
Nina Morrison tries to keep distance from him. She likes the enterprise culture of J&Y Group and cherishes this job. She will never get herself in any office romance.
Time goes by quietly till today. Raymond Lauren’s secretary dials to Nina Morrison internal call, “Miss Morrison, Mr. Lauren wants you come with the business proposal of Gray Group.”
Probably he wants to urge the process. Nina Morrison doesn’t think too much. She takes her PC and walks to Raymond Lauren’s office.
“Nina, you come with me to Gray Group.” Raymond Lauren says only one sentence.
Nina Morrison’s heart tightens and asks Raymond Lauren instinctively, “Why do we go to Gray Group?”
The first round of approval has passed and the second planning has not been finished. So there won’t be the approval problems. So why do they go to Gray Group?
Raymond Lauren frowns, “The president of Gray Group comes back from the business trip. He has read the business proposal and is not satisfied. His secretary asks us to go over there for further discussion personally.”
Nina Morrison is confused. Does the president need to discuss these details in person?
Raymond Lauren seems to see Nina Morrison’s doubts and sighs, “This Mr. Gray doesn’t follow the common rules. In theory, he doesn’t need to discuss personally. But I don’t know why. He insists that our direct project leader must go over and has a face-to face discussion with him. Never mind. Let’s go.”
Nina Morrison is the direct leader of this project.
Lucien Gray must have seen her name on the business proposal.
