Lucien Gray hasn’t called Nina Morrison since that day.
Nina Morrison calls him several times, but it is the secretary that answers all the phone. She says Mr. Lucien is too busy to answer the phone and she will tell him that she called.
But Lucien Gray never calls back.
Maybe he is really busy? Such a large investment is not a joke.
Nina Morrison convinces herself that Lucien Gray doesn’t have time to answer the phone because he is too busy.
Finally, it’s Sunday, Nina Morrison gets up early in the morning. She cleans up the house and tries on clothes by the wardrobe for a long time before picking out a dress with translucent yarns at the shoulders.
When they are alone, Lucien Gray likes her to dress sexy. After waiting for a while and Lucien Gray doesn’t call, Nina Morrison loses her cool and calls him.
It’s the secretary again. Nina Morrison's heart sinks to the bottom.
“Hello, Miss Morrison, Mr. Lucien is not coming back to Cagliari today. Hannover’s business isn’t done yet. Mr. Lucien will be here for a while.”
“How long is a while?” Nina Morrison asks expectantly.
The secretary’s voice sounds stiff. “That depends. Mr. Lucien doesn’t say the exact time.”
After hanging up the phone, Nina Morrison is very disappointed. She thinks Lucien Gray could come back today, and she plans to ask him to take Nelson out tomorrow.
While she was wondering, her phone rings. Nina Morrison looks at it. It is Jasmine Harris. She hesitates and picks up. Jasmine Harris’s voice is delighted. “Thank you, Nina! Lucien asks me out today!”
Lucien Gray asks her out? Isn’t he busy? Isn't he so busy that he needs a secretary to answer the phone? Why does he have time to meet Jasmine Harris?
Nina Morrison feels like a thorn in her heart. The pain makes the tip of her heart twitching.
“Isn’t Lucien Gray still on a business trip in Hannover?” Nina Morrison blurts out.
