President’s Sweet Wife novel Chapter 735

Natalia nodded.

Therefore, the two headed back for the car.

Nancy, who had caught Natalia’s hint, thought that Natalia would find a chance to take down the older man. When she came back, she would help her subdue the younger one.

Hence, she waited anxiously in the car.

But to her surprise, Natalia didn’t come back alone. The older man was still with her!

Nancy was stupefied. For a moment, she thought she had interpreted Natalia’s hint wrongly.

Seeing that they came back together, she was once again at a loss about what to do.

“Should I do something or keep waiting?”

“Did something unexpected happen on their way?”

Nancy just sat there, looking dumbfounded.

Natalia felt helpless, too. She stealthily gave Nancy a wink, who instantly cottoned on and didn’t ask any questions.

Natalia climbed into the carriage. Seeing them come back, the younger man warmly greeted Felix.

Surprisingly, Felix responded with a fluent native dialect. Before Natalia found out he was Felix, the way Felix talked didn’t bother her.

But now, she was weird out by that.

She felt very uncomfortable.

Nancy was worried sick at the sight of Natalia’s complex expression.

After all, the two had racked their brains to come up with this plan.

If they didn’t run away now, they would be sent to the base of the outlaws once they entered the town. What should they do then?

Thus, after the door was closed, Nancy couldn’t help but grab Natalia and ask in an undertone, “What happened? You failed to knock him out?”

Natalia sighed helplessly.

The story of Felix disguising himself as that man’s older brother was too complicated. She didn’t feel like revealing the truth in case the other man in the front overheard her.

She knew that the three of them could easily take down that man.

But since Felix had disguised himself as that man’s older brother, he must have his own plan and purpose. Thus, Natalia didn’t want to expose Felix’s identity.

On that account, she didn’t say anything but shook her head in resignation and wrote a few words with her fingers in Nancy’s palm.

“Be patient. Things changed.”

Nancy was taken aback. She didn’t quite follow her.

Natalia couldn’t tell her much right now. She only nodded at Nancy, indicating that they were safe and she didn’t have to worry.

Nancy furrowed her brows.

Though she was still at a loss, as Natalia already made it clear that they were no longer in danger, she had to believe in her.

Thus, Nancy didn’t press her to explain further.

After about another half an hour of the bumpy ride, they finally came to town.

Once they entered the town, Natalia sensed that the road had become even.

It was half-past six in the morning. Some breakfast stalls could be seen on the sides of the street.

As there was a morning market, this place was filled with farmers crying out their wares and purchasers haggling over the price. It was quite a hubbub.

This was the first time Natalia heard such a clamor since she arrived here. Her heart, which seemed to have been frozen for a long time, started to throb again.

The remote mountain she stayed before was picturesque. But after living there for a while, she felt lonely and depressed because not many people were around.

Now she was in town, she felt that she was back alive.

Natalia wanted to see the town. But the door was closed, leaving only a thin sift for air to go in. She couldn’t see anything from there.

Then, she heard the younger man’s voice.
