Instantly, he felt cold from head to toe. The last trace of warmth in Joseph’s eyes vanished. He looked at Hayden with his icy gaze. Coldness covered his expressionless face, and he said, word by word, “Say it one more time.”

“I can say it for another ten times, and I won’t change my mind. If you dare to hurt Edison, hurt me as well.” Hayden said firmly. Her gaze had shown her disappointment towards Joseph.

She even began to doubt that how could she possibly fell for a petty guy like him. He was a deep-minded, pretentious and proud man. He even treated human life like weeds by the roadside.

Joseph clenched his fists until his joints creak. His words squeezed out from his teeth, “Your friendship for life is really touching. That’s what you call ordinary friend. You’re so good in acting.”
