Mrs. Beckham frowned.

Hayden found that a beauty like her was still elegant when she frowned although she was not young now.

The beauty raised her head slowly, “If I knew his plan, I would not let him do it.”

Hayden was stupefied, “So he kept it back from you?”

“Not exactly,” she sighed and explained,

“I realized something under way when he applied for the University of Public and Security in Nanking, who might remember the Beckham’s firmly. But in the past years, he has never done anything wrong so I haven’t asked him about why he preferred the university. But some days ago, he told me that he met Joseph.”

“Oh I got it.” Hayden was relieved.

As long as Stefan was not asked by her to befriend Joseph, it’s not likely for them to do harm to Joseph. Actually, she treated Mrs. Beckham as a nice woman.

Maybe the relationship between the mother and the son would be mended.

“Stefan is a good boy,” Mrs. Beckham explained to Hayden to reassure her, “To be honest, I hid the secret from him that he had a brother. But he is always so sensitive and smart that he later knew it and asked me why I left his brother and grandfather. I didn’t know that he read my diary and the old photos until we came to live in Lanxi.”

Although she never told him what happened in the past, and the reason why she left the family pregnant, he kept searching for materials for the truth.

“Is Stefan’s father not Joseph’s?”

Hayden was speechless at her words.

When they left the coffee shop, Hayden sent her back to the hospital as polite as possible.

And they met Stefan who was looking around.
