Tina had already guessed who that woman would be.
Without any doubt, Isla's words conformed Tina's thoughts. "Look at those Barbie dolls and fruits on the sofa. They are the gifts that auntie gave me! She was really a pretty auntie! She asked me to call her Auntie Amery!"
Tina looked up.
Only then did she notice that the sofa was piled up with a lot of gifts, which obviously had been prepared meticulously.
Tina was silent.
She had told Wilson that even if their relationship was canceled, she didn't dare, and had no right to deprive him of his right to be Isla's father. For this reason, it was natural for Wilson to come here to see his daughter.
Whether he came here alone, or with another woman, Tina couldn't do anything about it.
Although this was the truth, Tina still felt as if her heart was being sliced by a blunt knife again and again.
Isla sighed like an adult and stopped eating the cake. She said in a worried tone, "Mom, I'm a little worried that the Domineering CEO might have fallen in love with another woman."
Tina pursed her lips and remained silent.
In the sunny ward, the mother and daughter were reflecting upon their own things.
It was the ringtone of the mobile phone that interrupted their reflection.
Tina took out her phone and looked at the caller's ID. She then touched Isla's head and went towards the window to pick it up.
As soon as the line was connected, a man's voice, which was somewhat mischievous, could be heard. "Tina, it's me!"
It seemed that Desmond Chin was always a flamboyant, energetic, and to some extent simple-minded man.
Tina replied, "Uh-huh."
She then asked him, "Desmond, what's up?"
Desmond seriously said to her, "Have you forgotten what you promised me last time?"
"What's that?" Tina was a little confused.
Hearing this, Desmond immediately became angry, and he shouted, "Tina! You won't go back on your words, right? Last time, you promised me that you would make some porridge for me. Do you want to break your promise now? How dare you!"
Tina touched her forehead helplessly. Only then did she remember what she had promised him.
This was in fact only a small matter. Just now, Desmond was questioning her very seriously, and therefore she thought it might be a big deal at the beginning.
Now that she had realized it was all because of a bowl of porridge, she was very amused. "I won't go back on my words. I just have forgotten about it..."
As she had promised him at that time, she would surely fulfill the promise.
"That's good!" Desmond heaved a sigh of relief and coughed. "I want to eat the porridge tomorrow. Make it for me. I'll go to the hospital to fetch it!"
Tina was surprised. "Desmond, you want it tomorrow? Isn't it the Mid- Autumn Festival tomorrow? Are you sure?"
Porridge was made of rice and water, and it was almost tasteless. Tina thought that it was too ordinary for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
After all, Desmond was a young master, and he was supposed to eat luxury food like beef, seafood, or abalone, etc at such a grand festival. How could a rich and powerful young man like him eat something as plain as porridge?
However, Desmond's attitude was very adamant. "I'm sure I want it! Tina, you should take the porridge to the hospital tomorrow. I'll go there to fetch it. That's settled. Tomorrow, I want to see the porridge definitely!"
Tina was speechless. "Okay!"
After receiving her reply, Desmond hung up the phone happily.
It was the Mid- Autumn Festival, an important traditional holiday.
As pry made a phone call to Tina and invited her to spend the holiday with the Koo family in the hospital. Tina declined Aspry's invitation. She wanted to spend the holiday with her daughter.
Isla had forgotten about her worries yesterday. There was happy smile on her innocent little face now.
This morning, she made a phone call to Wilson.
Wilson personally guaranteeded to Isla that she would always be his favorite little girl. She was relieved by his words and no longer worried about whether he would fall in love with another girl.
Although Isla had been transferred from the sterile room to an ordinary ward, and her recovery had been satisfying, it could not be denied that her physical strength was not as good as normal children. And even if she would be allowed to leave the hospital later, she would still need to take drugs for at least half a year.
Isla was an optimistic girl, and her little face was always full of happiness and vigor.
The mother and daughter spent a happy day of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the ward.

Hate deception and Abby and Dylan take the cake ,ugh...
NO!!! Tina belongs with Wilson…. Let Dylan and Abby get together...
Wow, once again the villain messes up the true love, Abby needs to go back abroad. And Tina’s true identity as the daughter of Bill Ambrey needs to be exposed! Then the families can “convenience marry” !! Abby is a witch....
Too bad Wilson can’t figure out that his and Tina’s ex’s and his cousin Desmond are conniving creeps!...
Anthea is so stupid, lying and leaving the man who loves her more than life itself. 🤬...
She deserves to be unhappy, being with someone she doesn’t love because of resentment for the exact thing she is doing, hopefully she ends up with no one. Calvin is a wimp and doesn’t love her, just wants a wife to please his family....
So the same basic story as Simon and Addy but stupid Emily is going to marry him! What a hypocrite! Ugh...
Emily gets more stupid every chapter, when did she pickup Calvin as a fiancé!!?? This story line is awful….very sad to do to Simon what she “thought” he had done but didn’t. She is truly a dumb woman. Simon never loved or really even cared for Addy….what the hell is she doing with someone she doesn’t even know or like/love. Awful 😢...
Emily is a fool, don’t let go of the man who truly loves you. Let go of the past, of which he did nothing but help someone who saved his life, and be happy with him… he is your soulmate....
Nothing like cutting off your nose to spite your face Emily. Just stupid! Ugh 😩...
