Wendy heard it and shook her head silently. "I don't know..."
"Emily, I really don't know." She sighed softly and looked at Larry squatting in front of her. "I am now completely focused on Larry, and every day my mind is filled with him. You may not understand the joy of regaining from loss. It is not some object, but my child. I can't wait to make it up to him for all the love he's been missing these past four years!"
Wendy truly did not know, because she had never seriously considered this question.
She had broken up with Charlie four years ago, and he was the one who proposed it. She didn't expect that the child who belonged to them was still alive and had become a connection between them. She didn't know what Charlie was thinking, but she had not thought about it, not yet at least...
Emily could understand what Wendy was thinking. She patted Wendy's hand and said, "Let's go!"
When they were queuing up to pay the bill, Wendy was surprised to see a full shopping cart. "Emily, you bought so much?"
"Yeah, I didn't expect that either!" Emily shrugged her shoulders.
Wendy was worried about Emily's body. For the first three months of pregnancy, Emily had to be careful. "I'll send you back first, or it will be inconvenient for you!" Emily nodded with a smile, holding Wendy in her arms, and said, "Thank you."
After coming out of the supermarket, it was already getting late outside. The rush hour was not a good time to take a taxi.
Wendy looked at the taxis full of customers. She took out her mobile phone and wanted to call Uncle Lee, but before the number was even dialed, Emily, on the side, suddenly raised a hand towards somewhere.
"Mr. Hogg, here!"
Wendy and Larry looked over and a white Land Rover stopped on the roadside.
Emily explained with a smile, "I called Mr. Hogg! He'll send me back first, and then you can go home together."
Wendy had to get on the car with Larry in her arms.
The Land Rover stopped at the foot of the apartment building. Wendy remembered that Emily had bought a lot of things in the trunk, so she opened the door and wanted to help. Charlie in front of her was one step faster. He turned his head and said, "You and Larry wait in the car. I'll take it up!"
"Okay." Wendy nodded gratefully.
Charlie picked up the two shopping bags in the trunk and entered the apartment building with Emily.
Neither of them spoke. It was not until they entered the elevator that Charlie finally moved his lips and asked, "How's it?"
"I asked Wendy what her plans are for you!" Emily reported, telling Charlie roughly what Wendy had said "She told me that she didn't know. She is now completely focused on the child. She didn't think about anything else. She just wanted to make up for Larry!"
Hearing this, Charlie pursed his thin lips and said, "Okay, I know."
Seeing that there were wrinkles between his eyebrows, Emily quickly added, "Mr. Hogg, don't be discouraged, I think Wendy's not wrong to think this way, but there's one thing I'm sure of, all these years, Wendy has been single!"
"Miss Sam, thank you very much! I still need to count on you in the future" Charlie's thin lips curled slightly as he spoke sincerely.
"Well..." Emily scratched her head and let out a long sigh. "Mr. Hogg, you'd better not ask me, a pregnant woman, to do this in the future!"
"What's wrong with pregnant women?" Charlie raised his eyebrows.
"I don't want to be a hidden traitor anymore..." Emily pulled her face.
Charlie nodded, then looked at her and said, "Don't feel too burdened. You're a great undercover agent."
Emily:"..."
Was there any difference?
Never mind, she's already a traitor when she lived in Charlie's house four years ago, and now she had gotten used to it.

Hate deception and Abby and Dylan take the cake ,ugh...
NO!!! Tina belongs with Wilson…. Let Dylan and Abby get together...
Wow, once again the villain messes up the true love, Abby needs to go back abroad. And Tina’s true identity as the daughter of Bill Ambrey needs to be exposed! Then the families can “convenience marry” !! Abby is a witch....
Too bad Wilson can’t figure out that his and Tina’s ex’s and his cousin Desmond are conniving creeps!...
Anthea is so stupid, lying and leaving the man who loves her more than life itself. 🤬...
She deserves to be unhappy, being with someone she doesn’t love because of resentment for the exact thing she is doing, hopefully she ends up with no one. Calvin is a wimp and doesn’t love her, just wants a wife to please his family....
So the same basic story as Simon and Addy but stupid Emily is going to marry him! What a hypocrite! Ugh...
Emily gets more stupid every chapter, when did she pickup Calvin as a fiancé!!?? This story line is awful….very sad to do to Simon what she “thought” he had done but didn’t. She is truly a dumb woman. Simon never loved or really even cared for Addy….what the hell is she doing with someone she doesn’t even know or like/love. Awful 😢...
Emily is a fool, don’t let go of the man who truly loves you. Let go of the past, of which he did nothing but help someone who saved his life, and be happy with him… he is your soulmate....
Nothing like cutting off your nose to spite your face Emily. Just stupid! Ugh 😩...
