Naomi clearly did not know what to say because of how he reacted. Charles looked apologetic.
Naomi smiled and shook her head. "No. As long as you're fine."
Naomi was worried for him!
Charles smiled as warmth spread throughout his chest. "I heard that this restaurant is great. The next time we come here, let's take Sean and Amelia here. They'll love it here."
This resonated well with Naomie. She had thought of taking Amelia to Herland on a trip. Naomi also knew that Charles hoped that Sean and Amelia would end up together. After all, they were long-time friends. They knew each other well.
"I thought of that, too!"
"You too?" Charles was surprised.
Naomi smiled. "Mm-hm. When we arrived, I was already thinking about Amelia. Amelia is a food gourmet. She'll surely like this place."
"It's a date. Next time when we're free, we'll come here together."
"Okay."
They were chatting happily, no longer affected by Olivia's presence.
Olivia could not get anything out of their conversation after eavesdropping on them for a long time, but from their tone, they did not sound like they were in love.
Were they together, or were they not? Olivia was unsure.
Naomi and Charles' dishes were served not long after.
Charles looked at the 'Till Death Do Us Part'. The dish looked like two joined hands. It seemed to say as if no matter what happened, they would never be apart.
